  • This week in the ‘KOKO Match Review’ the boys celebrate an amazing Wallabies win against the old foe England in the dying moments at Twickenham. The ‘Gladiators of Gold’ showed a new identity of grit and determination to claim only their second Test Match win over the motherland in their last twelve matchups. The gang analyzed Aussie debutant Joseph Sua’ali’i’s performance as he became only the second Wallaby behind our very own Matt Giteau to play their first professional rugby union match on the international stage. Although Joseph’s bank balance might have a few less commas than Goits, he did however manage a feat that our little legend couldn't by claiming player man of the match honours in his very first outing. In a game where both sides landed punches and weathered storms, the lads highlight that for the Wallabies Len Ikitau had a formidable performance in every facet of the game and for the English it is fair to say Marcus Smith has put a stake in the ground as a premier fly half in world rugby. However, it was Joe Schmidt’s men who dug deep for the full eighty minutes and ensured that the always elusive Grand Slam title was still alive and kicking for the Wallabies in 2024.

The lads will cover every square inch of this cracking Test Match documenting the emotional ebbs and flows of International rugby and how the mighty Wallabies took a Schmidt on England’s parade. So wake the fuck up and smell the roses that we just stole from those pesky primadonna Poms. Australia it is time to stop checking your blood pressure, pop a ‘xanny’, pour yourself a spritz and just bathe in the warm and fuzzies that a win over England provides. Please enjoy another dose of the ‘KOKO Match Review’.

  • This week on The KOKO Show the boys are joined by a Wallabies Test Centurion, pint sized powerhouse and just all around great bloke. This fella was known for his delicious service from the base of the ruck and the amazing ability to live on a steady diet of self confidence and Pepsi Max. That is right, Will Genia drops by to impart his wisdom, footy insights and humour on our delightful panel of dullards. In this episode the boys break down the All Black’s nail biting victory over England, as well as Scotland's schooling of a feeble Fiji at Murrayfield. Fret not ye KOKO cool cats, this is not where the ‘ra ra’ ramble ends, as the fellas fine tooth comb their way through week 1 of the November Internationals giving you personalised previews of all the hot tips and count flips when it comes to deciding who is better between the North and South. However, we spend a little more time on how Joe’s ‘Gladiators of Gold’ are shaping up to dismantle the motherland and priming themselves to sufficiently ‘Schmidt’ on England’s parade.

Plus, thanks to our beautiful friends at MYER for keeping this show on its toes, we slide out another silky yet sensual ‘Match Fit’ that promises to hit you in all the right places. Furthermore, with the mercury rising and the ocean glittering our hankering for a grilling session is coming to the surface, so thanks to BeefEater and Appliances Online the time for a BBQ is now. So sit back, plug in your iPod shuffle, flip a couple of snags and bask in the glow of KOKO, as we prepare the nation to watch our mighty Wallabies turn Twickenham into a temple of torture, whilst joyfully downing our foes that wear that silly rose. Ladies and Gentlemen, It’s time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

  • This week on The KOKO Show the lads are back after a much needed hiatus, filled with meditation retreats, prostate exams and day trips to their local VIP gaming facilities. All in all it is fair to say that they are back with a renewed energy for life and the sole mindset of delivering to you our beautiful fans a just above average entertainment experience. With this being our first episode back on the horse after a break we thought let's not burden our beautiful minds with the pressures of a special guest, but rather let’s see this wild beast of a ‘no guest nonsense’ show organically grow to thoroughly encompass both the joys of rugby union and the unrivalled shenanigans deep within us all.

Thanks to MYER this show is able to remain on the air and this week they kept the lights on so we can give you a full preview of the upcoming spring/autumn tours where us the salty Southerners will once again pull the pants down of some Northern nobodys in dramatic Test Match fashion. In this episode we give you a full run sheet of how each team plans to ‘Schmidt it in’ north of the invisible line whilst also preparing the residence of the UK and Ireland for their impending arrival to the ‘Motherland’ for our highly anticipated KOKO Spring Tour brought to you by MIXR and the WRU.

Plus, our sun kissed studs show off their exquisite summer ready loot from MYER in another masterful mixed bag Match Fit. We also sing our praises for the gorgeous humans at Easy Times Brewing Co for their delightfully delicious and drinkable drops and of course you can't have beer without a BBQ, so we give a massive thanks to BeefEater and AppliancesOnline for their continual support.

So please raise your hands if you have missed us! Well we are back whether you like it or not and we are after only one thing and that is to be ‘Kings of the Noth’. As the Wallabies make tracks beyond the great divide to set the record straight, KOKO will be there every step of the way. As we have always said “When they Schmidt, we Schmidt, let’s all Schmidt it in together”.

Big thanks to MYER for their support and remember you can buy everything you saw on the show from you local MYER or online - https://www.myer.com.au

  • This week on The KOKO Show we say farewell to The Rugby Championship and we congratulate the Springboks on their first win in 5 years, as well as acknowledging their charmingly chunky trophy case. Soon it is our belief Rassie will need a rental space to stash all their hard earned and metabolically manifested hardware from across the globe. In order to put a neat little bow on this Southern Hemisphere slugfest of Test Match rugby we get the boys to grade all the nations in the TRC on how they performed in the past six games and where they stack up as they head north for their respective spring tours. Whilst we talk about our little friends north of the Equator, the KOKO Crew drop the dates and details for their hotly anticipated spring time tour, as the lads get ready to ruthlessly rumble with live shows in Cardiff, London, Edinburgh and Dublin. So please head to our website for all the necessary information, so you the punter can be part of this debaucherous descent on the UK and Ireland.

As we take a little step back from the Test Match arena this week, we decided that there is no greater distraction from the ebbs and flows of footy than our next very special guest. If you ever need to fill a pod from whistle to whistle then this bloke is your answer, because when he gets tired talking about himself he has every expectation that you will pick up the baton and continue this self-centered lovefest. This larger than life loveable larrikin stopped by KOKO HQ for an unforgettable session and turned this once quaint and humble rugby show into the throbbing hog it has always wanted to be. So please put your hands together for this full time fucking legend and part time grumpy bastard. He is a big, bald, beautiful Brisbane boy and he is The KOKO Show’s Mt Everest, it is the one and only Mr Wendell Sailor.

However, in between all these delightfully Dell infused discussions we find some time to show our major sponsor MYER some love with a masterfully manicured mixed bag ‘Match Fit’. Plus, we sucked back on a couple of lagers from Easy Times Beer Co and discussed our ‘Super Sizzlers’ for the week thanks to our dear friends at BeefEater and Appliances Online. So if you are in need for a little trip down ‘Degenerate Drive’ to really loosen the shackles and get amped for summer then this show is the one for you. It is time for another episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

  • This week on ‘The KOKO Match Review’ the boys are up bright and early nursing sore heads and weary eyes to give you ‘ra ra’ roundup like no other. We will fine-tooth comb our way through Bledisloe two, where the All Blacks were pushed to the edge early by a brave and willing Wallabies team in windy Wellington. After getting off to a fast start this week the Wallabies mounted significant pressure, but when push came to shove, the points came a lot easier for the big brutal boys from the land of the long white cloud. The papers and social clips will read that the Wallabies went down two to nil in the Bledisloe Cup, but it is clear to the naked eye that our ‘Gangsters of Gold’ are putting in a ‘Schmidt’ tonne effort and are progressing nicely.

With the TRC on the line it would be reckless of The KOKO Crew not to address the neat little treat in Nelspruit between the Springboks and Pumas. Although the Pumas had a snowflake's chance in hell to hold the TRC title in their sassy South American hands, it was the banging Boks in the end that got up really big for Eben Etzebeth in his record breaking match. The ‘Green Goblins’ of gritty rugby proved way too strong at home for the pedestrian Pumas, claiming their much deserved place at the tippy top of The Rugby Championship.

So if you are rising slowly this fine morning muttering the words “Sundays are for Swoop” then throw on your coziest crotchless pants and listen to our dulcet tones to get you really hot and heavy. It is time for ‘The KOKO Match Review’.

  • This week on The KOKO Show we take a long hard look at round five of The Rugby Championship, a weekend that saw the giddy guys of gold push the All Blacks to the edge in Bledisloe one, as well as the World Champion blazing Boks getting pantsed by the prideful Pumas in a one point thriller. These games are broken down and picked apart by the KOKO Crew as if they were vultures on a sun baked Kudu carcass lying in the middle of the Serengeti.

To help us through this delectable feast of footy filled fabulousness, we have called in the big guns. This fella is one of New Zealand's favourite and somewhat forgotten sons, In 2011 he was the first-five that went from whitebait fishing to World Cup winning. So, please put your hands together for the wholesome hairy Beaver, the Waikato Wizard and the only man to ooze sexy with the middle name Rexy, Mr Stephen Donald. In this week’s episode Beaver takes across the ditch to see what the classy Kiwis are saying about their side's sub-par performance over the weekend, whilst also lifting the lid on what appears to be the start of a footy fuelled national crisis in New Zealand.

With all this sporting sensationalism hooked straight to our veins, the boys felt it was pertinent to spend a little time to show MYER our major sponsor some love with a perfectly fierce, flashy and spectacularly ‘sigma’ mixed bag ‘Match Fit. Plus, we go around again with our meaty mates from BeefEater, serving up some serious ‘Super Sizzlers’ and the lads issue a big thanks to our purveyor of mothers milk Easy Times Beer Co for quenching the needs of four thirsty men.

On top of all this we roll out a couple of fan fables on the ‘Dear Drew’ hotline and we bring back a juicy ‘Northern Hemisphere Legends’ as the top-halfers go ham for footy once again. So get out your paints, don your smocks and dust off the old easel, we want you to paint us like one of your French girls, as this porous pod sinks to brand new lows. It’s time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

  • This week in the ‘KOKO Match Review’ the boys peel back the layers on the All Blacks Bledisloe Cup victory in Sydney and they also have a little gander at top of the TRC tussle between Argentina and the Springboks. In James Slipper’s record breaking 140th cap for his country, it was the men from the land of the long white cloud that started fast against the wasteful Wallabies, stacking on the 21 unanswered in the first 15 minutes. Despite a brave and gutsy comeback from our ‘Gladiators in Gold’ in the second half, the early All Black rampage had us Aussies pushing ‘Schmidt’ uphill. It might be another ‘L’ in the results column for the Wallabies, but the KOKO Crew discuss at length the strengths and pitfalls of this young Aussie side heading into game two in Wellington.

The fellas also find a morsel time to touch on the ‘Big Boy’ bout between Argentina and South Africa. In a match where the stakes were sky high for both sides in relation to their TRC title hopes, but it was the punishing Pumas that went full alpha and said “hold my Malbec”, as they tightened up the TRC race heading into the final round in Nelspruit. With the Bled locked up at Razor’s ranch and the TRC crown still up for grabs, it is time for the men of KOKO to bathe in the delicacies and nuances of our beautiful game, please enjoy another dose of the ‘KOKO Match Review’.

  • This week on The KOKO Show we set the scene for round five of the TRC, bigging up all things Bledisloe Cup and how the Wallabies can leave a hypothetical bag of flaming Schmidt on the All Black’s doorstep. Despite the Trans-Tasman tussle being the centerpiece this weekend, we also give the Argentina v South Africa title race match a little love, debating whether the prancing Pumas have what it takes at home to pull down some silky Springbok slacks.

In order to enhance all this glorious rugby chat we have enlisted the help of one of the greatest Kiwis to ever do it. He might be small in stature but boy was he big in the ‘pain in the arse’ department, he is the puny punisher from Palmerston North and the Herculean halfback who broke Aussie hearts for fun. Please welcome our favourite little deep fried delicacy Mr Aaron ‘Nuggy’ Smith. On the show, Nuggy breaks down what it's like watching the All Blacks from afar, how he sees the Bledisloe Cup panning out and lifts the lid on the terrifying fact that his International playing days might not be over.

With all this manic footy preparation surrounding the KOKO Crew we spare a little time to show MYER our major sponsor some love with a perfectly curated, elegantly electric and decadently drenched mixed bag ‘Match Fit. Plus, we welcome back our meaty mates from BeefEater and the lads issue a big thanks to our new beer/mothers milk provider Easy Times Beer Co out of Brisbane.

On top of all this fiscal fanfare we fill this fallow week with three new spectacular segments which include, ‘Sundays are for Swoop’, ‘Get fit with Gits’ and ‘Dear Drew: The KOKO Hotline’. So sit back, lather yourself in coconut oil, sit in the sun and sizzle in the serenity of our podcasting putridness. They say there is nothing healthy about our show, but fuck me it is always a wild ride. It’s time for an all new Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

  • This week on the KOKO Show we got down and dirty with Australian content royalty, Tom and Eddy from the Hello Sport Podcast were kind enough to open up their studio and minds to be used and abused by this poor excuse of a show. We talk about everything from the seasonal nature of rosé, the correlation between sports administration and dumpling consumption and the current standing of Union in the Australian sporting landscape. There is nothing quite like talking footy fables with new friends, all while sipping on a tangy little tequila.

Plus, the boys break down the medium rare Argentinian ass whooping the Wallabies received over in Santa Fe, pulling no punches as they unpack why we sucked, how we sucked and who sucked the most. However, on the other side of every World Record pride pounding there sits the victor and boy didn’t those Argies turn up the heat on our Aussie lads, until they were done like a dinner. Alas, as Australians, we get back on the horse, we go again and we try not to let the All Blacks make it 68-27.

Despite being an Australian show, it would be remiss of us not to debate the big dog duel between South Africa and New Zealand. It was the footy version of Foreman v Ali, Swoop v the elusive feature and Gits v saturated fats, minute to minute this grind of a match proved in the end why the Springboks are World Rugby’s benchmark.

So if you are a Wallabies fan and you are feeling a little down, a touch blue and you are onto your third bottle of Savvy B, we just say don't sweat the small stuff, the nation always needs a tidy right after the Schmidt hits the fan. So pick up the baby wipes, arm yourselves with windex and press play on the KOKO Show. Let’s clean up Australian Rugby together! It’s time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

  • The Wallabies fell a long way short in Santa Fe against Los Pumas, unable to double down on their gritty win in the rain last week. The injury embattled ‘Boys of Gold’ got completely and utterly outplayed by the hosts in the second forty, as the Pumas piled on the points for fun. Plus, we also touch on that Cape Town ‘crunch-a-thon’, as the lads from the land of the long white cloud lose two on the trot to the blistering Boks. In a week where Australia stands as one to congratulate James Slipper for tying George Gregan’s all-time Aussie caps record, the ‘KOKO Crew’ are here right after the action to give you some hot takes, juicy tips and tangy touchpoints all wrapped up in a comprehensively disappointing review of some toe tickling Test Footy. Despite the early start on our end, the lads promise they are only three bloody marys deep and they are ready to rock your rugby related senses all morning long. So if you are up at the crack of dawn buffing an chiseling that slinky summer bod or just soaking in some self-blame from a Sunday morning walk of shame, just forget the world, pop two nurofen and wash it down with a good swig of luke warm KOKO. That’s right, it’s time for another dose of the ‘KOKO Match Review’.

  • This week on The KOKO Show we dive right back into the magical ecosystem that is The Rugby Championship season, nourishing our bodies with a gritty ‘Top Schmidt’ Wallabies win and nibbling on the big dog battle that saw the Springboks prevail over the All Blacks. With so much mouthwatering footy on the menu, it is only right that we pick both carcasses clean, like the analytical vultures we are. With the Wallabies well and truly back in the winners circle the lads bathe in the radiant aura of victory and boy it does it feel good. This episode Swoop was loud, Biv had his finger on the pulse, Gits was happy and Prof was Prof, giving you our beautiful fans a well rounded trip through the unforgiving yet always rewarding tundra that is International Rugby.

Plus, to help us deliver this sensory overload for your eyes and ears, we were joined by one of the greatest to ever lace them up. He is the Joburg Joker, the tip-toeing tech tycoon and the only bloke that can make racing animals and planes for money look cool. It is of course our South African sidekick Mr Bryan Habana.

With Spring now sprung and the mercury rising, the boys in partnership with our beautiful friends at MYER give our fashion focused fans a little taste of what to wear in warmer months in another mixed bag ‘Match Fit’. So flip out your shopping channel deck chair, get that coconut oil in all of your deepest crevices and soak up some springtime sun, with your four favourite flogs nattering in your head. It’s time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

  • This week on the KOKO Show we are joined by a code hopping hooligan, he is one of the greatest to ever play on the wing in either code. This Fijian born flyer has a penchant for a good nap, carving up the dance floor to Usher and spear tackling Richie McCaw in a Test Match. So please put your hands together for the Sunny Bank sensation, a man who went bang at the Broncos and then titillated at the Tahs, he was alway the smoothest on the park and that's why they call him the Shark. It is the one and only Mr Lote Tuqiri.

Plus, with this past week being a fallow weekend for footy, we turned our attention to bigging up the Wallabies trip to Argentina and the clash of the titans in South Africa when the All Blacks try to play spoiler against the Springboks. On top of all of that we take a little peek at the grassroots level as we preview the Shute Shield Final between Eastern Suburbs and Northern Suburbs in the NSW domestic competition.

Lastly, but certainly not leastly we pay homage to the beautiful people at MYER, as we celebrate all the ‘Daddys’ out there with a little appreciation and exploration of ‘Spring Newness’. So strip off your layers as the sun reemerges from the chains of Winter, get out your antihistamines as Spring readies to fuck up your sinuses and just enjoy the dulcet tones of the KOKO Crew. It is time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

  • This week on The KOKO Show we take you on a necessary journey of self-discovery and spiritual enlightenment. We are joined this week by a man that consistently played footy at the highest level and then after retirement decided to live at an even higher one. He has played 52 caps for the Springboks and he was the ‘legend face’ of Toulon Rugby, a man that draws you in with his warmth and unwavering energy, it is of course the father of flow and the patron of ‘pura vida’, Mr Joe van Niekerk. In this week’s episode the KOKO Crew get taken in a slightly different direction, we delve into the trials and tribulations of life after footy and what it means to find your ‘self’ post retirement.

With all that being said we still found time to dish you up a “succulent Chinese meal” of TRC content as we break down the Wallabies second defeat at the hands of the Green Machine in Perthfotein. Plus, we have a little gander at how the All Blacks took Los Pumas to the Garden of Eden and showed them how the big boys play. On top of all this yummy podtent, MYER is back in the fold presenting you with another deliciously fashionable instalment of ‘Match Fit’ and our dear friends at MANSCAPED AU allowed swoop to go hammer and tong at Biv’s bits.

So find your flow, open up your mind's eye and let this white light podcasting excellence fill your every orifice. This week we are aligning your chakras, whilst derailing everything else. It’s time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

  • The embattled Wallabies went down swinging once again at the hands of the big bad Boks in weather more fitting for a day at ‘Wet n Wild World’ rather than a footy match. The KOKO Crew are back once again like a pack of hungry news reporters with absolutely no journalistic integrity to give you all their spicy takes and tasty touch points from Saturday's game. Although, we can't promise 100% accurate information, we can deliver unwavering charisma and unapologetic Aussie bias. So if you are stuck in a Wallaby induced mine shaft of depression, climb back out and soak up some Aussie spirit, swim with a whale shark and chug some of Margaret River’s finest. Just remember it is always darkest before the Wallabies ‘Schmidt it in’ again. It’s time for another dose of the ‘KOKO Match Review’.

  • This week we bring you a match made by the game they play in heaven. This collaboration has one rugby podcasting powerhouse…and us. When we talk of amazing combinations, we think of wine and cheese, latex and fun and sriracha on anything. That is right, our humble little KOKO is going absolutely loco as we join forces with the ‘Boks Office’. The KOKO Crew are joined by Hanyani Shimange, Schalk Burger and Jean de Villiers to break down the Wallabies v Springboks ‘Schmidt show’ in Brisbane, as well as looking forward to the redemption match in Perth.

Despite all the Test footy going on in the Southern Hemisphere, we made sure we had some time to ‘jol’ with the ‘Boks Office’ lads about old stories, memories on tour and the current state of Australian Rugby. So fire up your braai, pour yourself a brandy and put two hands on your boerewors, this KOKO collab is going to be a lekker ride. It's time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

  • This week on the KOKO Show the crew headed down the Hume Highway to surprise our little leader upon his return from the land of the free and the home of the brave. That is right, we went full bloody stealth mode to ensure the unofficial King of Canberra got the serenade he deserved fresh off his business class flight home.

Thanks to our special guest and former Wallaby Ben Alexander and his team at ‘The Dock’ in Canberra we had a fun little get together in front of Goit’s family and friends. We cover all things ra ra in the lead up to the start of the TRC focusing on the Wallabies matchup against the Springboks and touching on the All Blacks v Argentina clash. Gone are the ghosts of July series past and now it is time for the big dawgs to eat, woof, woof, woof baby.

Plus, in partnership with our headline sponsor MYER we serve up another mouth watering ‘Match Fit’ segment and this time it comes with undertones of capital chic, parliamentary poise and world leader wonderment. So get comfy in the backbench and play nicely with your ballot box as we crawl deep inside your cabinet. • This week for The KOKO Show’s little extra something something, we are reaching deep inside the vault of family friendly parlor games and bringing out an oldie but a goody. That is right Biv, Prof and Mr DOGG are delivering you, our loyal foot soldiers, a spicy footy themed game ‘Rugby Union Celebrity Heads’.

I know what you are thinking, what happens when you have a big head, a grey head and a bald head playing a game of ‘Rugby Union Celebrity Heads’, well it is utter chaos, mixed intellects and endearing levels of confusion. So fix yourself a plate of nibblies, throw on your Uggs and think about who your rugby union celebrity hall pass is. It’s time for a little bit of KOKO bonus content baby.

  • This week on The KOKO Show we travel back to Ancient Greece, in order to rock the fuck out of a toga and understand what it is about the Olympics that gets the boys a smidgen hot under the saddle blanket. In a quest for experimentation and self-growth this show is going to try something a little different this week and tackle the giant that is the Paris Olympics. We touch on all the Rugby Sevens news from the first few days of competition, highlighting the valiant efforts of the ‘Golden Guys’, the role of Dupont in France’s golden glory and how the Aussie Women are shaping up for world domination.

Plus, the boys get out of their comfort zone as we dissect plenty of other amazing Olympic performances and the fellas pick their favourite moments from the 33rd games so far. We know Paris is famous for angry waiters, a metal tower and bloody big roundabout with an arch, but Mr Holiday Swoop lifts the lid on his must hits and naughty nooks you have to see when you visit the ‘City of Love’.

To cap off this très bien episode we get the competitive juices flowing with an Olympic sized quiz, filled to the brim with gold standard questions, as the boys fight it out for spots on the podium. So heat up your croissants, chalk up your mits and get your hands off ya batton, we are about to go full send on this triple pike of a podcast and of course we always stick the landing. It’s time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons.
