  • Can you believe this is our 300th Episode?!?! 🎉

If I've learned anything over the past 300 episodes and 6 seasons, it is "You don’t have to be the best at what you do… you just have to be the most consistent". BUT consistency may not mean what you think it does!

In this episode, I'm sharing a 2-part exclusive Masterclass where we redefine what consistency really means for your business. It’s not about never taking a break or posting daily on social media. Instead, it's about:

We’ll also cover the biggest mistakes like lack of clarity and burning out, and share tips on how to build a consistent strategy that aligns with your capacity and goals.

  • If I had to explain what I do in a few sentences, I would say: I help fellow female founders take the parts of business that feel big, hard, and complicated… and make them simple. But it hasn’t always been this way. Truth be told, I found simplicity in my business strategies out of necessity. It was either that or throw in the towel.

There was a time (a long period of time) that everything felt big and overcomplicated. Writing an email, posting on social media, building a brand, managing my time, making sales… all the ideas I had in my head just piling up on one another started to make it feel impossible to move forward AT ALL.

And I realized that if I wanted to keep doing this and make it worth the amount of time and energy I was dedicating to this, I had to do something differently! I had to change things up. I had to find another way.

And so my simplifying era was born!

I’m guessing some of you listening have felt this way. Maybe you even feel this way now. So today, I’m going to break down the top things I used to overcomplicate vs. what I do now!

Tune in to hear how I've changed each of these commonly overcomplicated parts of business, and made them feel simple:

    Managing my time

    My visibility strategies

    Content creation

    My offer suite

    Selling

Have you been overcomplicating some of these things, too? Let me know what you are (or used to) overcomplicate in the review section of Apple Podcasts or send me a message on IG @themegangillespie.

Consider me proof that there is a different way to do things, and it all starts with shifting your strategies!

I touch on each of these things inside of my Boss Bundle, which you can snag as part of the birthday season sale for $50 off today (END 7.18.2024)! Snag it HERE

As we hit the halfway mark of 2024 and school is about to end, it’s time to think about how to slow down and enjoy summer without letting your business fall behind. I'll share my strategies for planning ahead, simplifying tasks, and maintaining a balance between work and life during the busy summer months.

  • In this episode, we are getting bossy and a little spicy! I'm challenge the popular belief that more followers on social media automatically equates to business success. Here's what you'll learn:

Vanity Metrics Are Misleading: Having thousands of followers doesn't necessarily translate to more sales or a successful business. Authentic engagement and real connections with your audience are far more valuable.

Quality Over Quantity: It's not about the number of followers but the quality of those relationships. Building a community of engaged and supportive followers can have a much more significant impact on your business than just increasing numbers for the sake of it.

Effective Growth Strategies: Instead of focusing on growing your follower count, put your energy into authentic engagement, networking, guest speaking, and building an email list. These strategies will help you create meaningful connections and enhance your business visibility and growth.

Tune in to this episode to understand why your follower count isn't as important as you might think and to discover actionable steps to authentically boost your business.

  • This month, we've been diving deep into the concept of community and how it plays a crucial role in business. As we wrap up this topic, I want to share some valuable lessons I've learned from my experiences building local community- from a local network over the past year to community within my business and brand for the past decade +. I'm breaking down the good, bad, and everything in between!

    Key Takeaways from This Episode:

Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere: A positive and inclusive vibe encourages engagement and long-term participation in the community.

Consistency is Crucial: Regularly scheduled meetups build trust and anticipation among members.

Emphasizing Collaboration Over Competition: Focusing on collaboration creates unity and promotes collective growth.

Building a community has its highs and lows, but the connections and support make it all worthwhile. Remember, it’s all about learning and growing together. Tune in to learn more about creating and nurturing your own community!

  • Raise your hand if you preach community over competition… We all do! While it’s a lovely sentiment and the women-supporting-women movement has been empowering, there's a lot of fake support out there. Today, we’re diving into what REAL community over competition looks like.
    Key Takeaway:
If you’ve ever felt uncomfortable around your ‘competition’, know that it's normal and a shift in perspective can change everything. Embrace collaboration, celebrate others' successes, and create a community where everyone rises together.

Community over competition isn't just a trendy phrase—it’s a powerful mindset that can transform your business and life. Immersing yourself in genuine communities will make this mindset easier to adopt. Share your stories and struggles with feeling competitive, and let's continue to support and uplift each other.
