    We discuss what it was like dealing with the oppression of a religious cult, some of the trauma she experienced growing up, how her family escaped the cult, the challenges of building a completely new life in the outside world, and the learnings she has had along her journey.

  • In this episode, I chat with serial entrepreneur, coach and Australian fitness business expert Travis Jones. Travis founded RBT Gyms and has grown the business from a start-up with $0 revenue through to a 16 gym empire doing around $10 million annual revenue.

    Travis is also the founder of Fit-Pro formula where he has coached hundreds of fitness professionals and helped them grow 6 and 7 figure businesses in the fitness space, and he is the founder of Keystone app, another fitness-related business providing personal trainers with the platform needed to service their clients to a high level online.

    We talk about Travis's startup journey with RBT including him living in the gym with his dog because he couldn't afford to pay rent.     For the past 25 years, Lisa has competed in the world's toughest endurance events clocking up over 70,000km, racing everywhere from the Sahara, to the Gobi, to Death Valley to the Himalayas, Australia and Europe.   • In this episode, I speak with former convict turned doctor, speaker, coach, and best selling author, Dr Paul Wood. This is hands down one of my favourite conversations to date.   • In this episode, I sit down with professional rugby player and current Wellington Hurricane, James Marshall. This is a really cool conversation for me because James and I were friends at High School where we played college rugby together.

    His dream was always to play professional rugby and go as far as he could in the sport. To sit down with James 10 years down the track and reflect on his career and the experiences he has had playing here in New Zealand and abroad was pretty special.

    We chat about dealing with pressure, team culture, self-confidence, overcoming setbacks, and what it takes to make it in professional sport. We also chat about some of the most influential players James has played alongside and what it was like winning the Super Rugby title for the first time in the club's history.

  • Cam Calkoen is a powerful international speaker and former professional athlete. Born with cerebral palsy and told by doctors he would never be able to walk properly or talk properly, Cam smashed through all the limitations that were put upon him by others.

  • In this episode, I chat with former world champion wakeboarder turned motivational speaker Brad Smeele. In 2014 Brad suffered a career-ending accident on the water which left him facing life as a quadriplegic.

    Over the past 6 years, Brad has faced up to some of the most severe adversity anyone can imagine and in the process has learned to control his mind and find genuine acceptance & happiness despite the adversity.

    We talked about mindset, ego, meditation, facing your fears, making the most of life, the importance of purpose, and how he has rebuilt his life and used his story and adversity to serve others.
