As a Paed Ot I am especially keen for my baby to meet all of her infant developmental milestones early or on time. I love my daughter so much and I am very happy for her to do everything in her own time but I want to make sure I provide as much opportunity and anything to support that I can.

What an incredible concert, such an amazing group of artists! I had so many thoughts and take aways from the concert that I couldn’t not devote a podcast to them..
I actually wasn’t a massive fan, I was excited to see them and new a few songs.. I really was blown away with how kind Chris Martin is, so much empathy and his ability to encapsulate the audience and make the massive, packed out stadium feel like an intimate moment.. -

I am so amazed at how many people all around the world are listening, thank you.
I am curious as to different peoples living situations? I myself have an apartment as I moved in as a single person not expecting the best chapter of my life to occur.
We are hoping to live to a bigger place with a back garden, here are some reasons of why that might be beneficial for children’s development, like everything there are always pros and cons.

Seven flights down, one more in the morning! Hopefully I don’t jinx ourselves by sharing these thoughts the night before we are flying!
I was so scared to be going through customs with a baby the first time but overall I actually find traveling not too bad with a baby. It’s definitely about being organised, prepared, not over packing but having the key items at your finger tips! -

As our time in Fiji concludes, I wanted to mull over the differences in personalities and people that we have encountered, yes we can all have a bad day but isn’t it nicer when we put out our best foot forward to be nice!
We teach the children that we consult with to think about empathy by encouraging the idea of how do we walk in other peoples shoes.

A follow on to levels of productivity.. considering mindfulness, sensory regulation and how to stay relaxed and productive without being overwhelmed and overloaded.. how does this relate to you, your family and even your friends.

I love looking at and sharing how behaviour occurs.. what comes first the chicken or the egg? Is behaviour derived from sensory overload and one’s inability to process a given situation or does sensory overload or intolerance occur because of the behaviour.. I’m not just talking about children, this applies to people of all ages.. case in point my episode was cut short as a certain someone was having a moment and needed me.. to be continued in part 2.

My ten cents worth of some of the little things I do to help my bod, coming from an experience like of life perspective rather then being an expert in the field!

Do you agree this has become such a buzz word of late… and are there really so many..
I find it so interesting as we all need to have some of the qualities that describe a narcissist to get ahead in life but they are so much more then being self focused and confident.
If you are asking yourself “am I” you can already answer your own question that you care and have empathy and therefore are not! -

We are back out walking today as we mull over the effect of sensory and the need for stimulation in every day life. Looking at how it effects the nervous system and specifically the startle reflex as I am currently helping Olivia to sleep with her arms out rather then being swaddled.
This is also relevant for us as adults, I hope these little snippets are continuing to encourage people to understand their own sensory needs.
I hope you find this thought provoking,

Have you been brought into the conversation or heard others murmuring about why there is so much talk about diagnosis these days?
There are a range of reasons why and like everything there is always a for and against.
Things have definitely changed since I was at school and I can’t imagine where things will be by the time my tiny daughter is at school too! -
