Meanwhile, at Fort Atlas, Odessa, Knight Jenkins, and Knight Carlson meet to discuss what they've learned from Gralsburg's Deep Archive and how it relates to a figure from Carlson's past. Armed with a renewed sense of clarity, they undertake a radical new course of action to save Appalachia.
At the Spider's Web, Beth meets a mysterious traveler who offers a sense of perspective that she'd been lacking since returning home.

Beth, Odessa, and Amanda return from their adventure in Gralsburg and immediately find themselves back in the middle of the Syndicate's operation. Beth struggles with the emotional and psychological ramifications of her time in Gralsburg and weighs what she's gained versus what she's lost.
Odessa meets with Rahmani to discuss her journey and the myriad implications of what they found. Meanwhile, still in Cincinnati, Amanda makes a shocking discovery about a previously unrevealed aspect of the Syndicate's plans.
