We struggle with what types of content we should be producing. When it comes to podcast, we need to be very strategic on what types of content we create. After all, we are not producing content just to produce content. So what plays to our strengths? In this episode, I share what my content marketing strategy looks like.
Step 1: What types of content play to my strengths?
I'm an introvert and I love writing. I also love getting the most bang for my buck. I share how writing lead to my love of podcasting.
Step 2: What platforms work best?
Understanding the difference between stable platforms versus disappearing platforms can have a huge impact on your marketing. I discuss the differences between the two platforms. And which ones play to my strengths.
Step 3: What am I experimenting with?
Content won't do any good unless you're getting it in front of people. So I'm working hard to get myself out onto other platforms. Like the 30-Day Reel Challenge that I am taking. As well as researching a good 30-Day TikTok challenge.

Podfade is real and can hit us when we least expect it. A big driver in podfade: a publishing schedule that's too brutal to maintain. In this episode, I share how any podcaster can be podfade by simply re-examining what their podcast schedule looks like. What does it mean to produce content consistently; how does this help build the KLT Factor, and what happens if we try and change our schedule.

Show Notes:
One of the big pains around podcasting: publishing schedule. This is because it takes time to plan a podcast episode; find the guests; record the episode; and if you follow the podcast gurus ... your podcasting editing time consumes a lot.
Grueling publication is one of the biggest causes of podfade.
Why do we set these tough publishing schedules for ourselves? Because experts tell us to. The same experts who have a team of people to help them create content. Russell Brunson and Gary Vaynerchuk come to mind.
Why do we even publish content in the first place? Because we want to build on our Know-Like-Trust factor. The important one being trust. If people don't trust us, it doesn't matter if they know us or like us.
The most important factor in building trust is consistency. But what does consistency mean?
Consistency means what is consistent for you.
It's better for you to change your podcast publishing schedule rather than burn out and "ghost" your audience.
Consistency is a pillar in creating trust online. So no matter what schedule you pick, make sure to stay with that schedule. If you need to change it, then change it. No one says that your schedule is absolute and can't be changed. You will not break the laws of physics by changing your schedule.

Why do Introverts Need to Recharge? It's science! It's all in how we handle dopamine. Extroverts want more more more dopamine. Introverts, we get our fill and we are done. To much dopamine and we get overstimulated.
How can Introverts Recharge? Take time to unplug. Solitude helps us clear the dopamine out of our brain. So build in time with our schedule to allow this to happen.
What is an artist date? This is a "date" we make with ourselves. We do something that allows our creative child play. Given enough time, the creative child can come up with all kinds of ideas.
How can artist date benefit the introvert? When we take time to unplug, take the time to schedule an Artist Date along with it. So that way we can leverage our alone time to really come up with creative solutions.
