We as a christian community believe that God is up to something amazing. Especially when it comes to how He is leading us. But often times, our "but" gets in the way. We often use our "buts" as an excuse for the greater purpose that God is leading us to. So let's begin to step our in faith, and learn how we can get our "but" out of the way!

This week our greatest act is found in Christ's greatest command: to love the Lord with ALL we are, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. But without Christ as our foundation, it is difficult to step out in faith and lead others to give God a chance. We hope this message challenges you to be the light our world so desperately needs!

We are jumping into a cool series: something simple, something critical. Can we give God a chance? We are quick to jump to conclusions, but God who created all things is not a God bound to time; He is good, and if it's not good, He is not done yet. We hope this message encourages you to seek more of Him!

We are kicking off a series this weekend following our previous series: Game Day. Now that we know how to be winners, how can we also be solid and quality influencers? How we live our life will be a greater attraction to others verses how we perform. Let's live the way we talk! Thanks for joining.

Pastor Kirby is finishing up this series from a couple weeks back on ways to be a winner in this life. Lots of hard but necessary truth is needed in order to live the life that Christ has called us to. Being a winner for the Kingdom of God often means that we have to put our desires aside and really set our focus on the long game, but God's grace is more than sufficient! Enjoy this week's message!

We are joined by guest speaker Peter Reeves who gave a very poignant and relevant message on the "temperature" of our homes. We aren't often in control of the situations that happen around us, but how we handle our home is completely up to us. We should never forget that setting the temperature also involves trusting in God's Spirit to lead us. Enjoy this weekend's message!

Pastor Denny (former Lead Pastor) is back on the platform and using his story to lead us to remember who God is, and how His love is sufficient for us. We celebrated his and Cheryl's time in ministry that evening, and his message prepped us to understand how effective a life given to Jesus can have a massive impact. We hope you are encouraged by this message!

Fall is here, the season of football, routine, school, and everything else is here. With that, how easy it is for us to forget how to live like winners. The bible gives us insight on how to live a life as a victor, but there is one who is trying to sabotage those plays...ourselves. If we aren't careful, we can be our own opponent! Check out what Pastor Kirby has to say about living like a winner.

We are continuing in our "questions" series and talking about some tough subjects. But rather than simply aligning ourselves with defeated and discouraged mindsets, what if we approached the subject head on as a question? Forgiveness is not a natural, beneficial response, but it can change the world! See how you can learn how to forgive!
-
This message has a poignant purpose: How do I handle my anger? When should I be angry? Should I be angry? We hope this message gets right to the point and lead you to understand how great our emotions can, or can't, be.

We are jumping into a two-part series about the directions we all find ourselves walking in, physically, spiritually, and even eternally. It is is critical to keep heading in the direction we feel God is leading us, but where we are currently can make or break that journey's success. Thank you for joining!

We are joined this week for a special update. Pastor Derrick and Ashley have taken this Sunday to update the church on their story of their current affliction and how they have witnessed God's faithfulness in a whole new way! We hope this message inspires you to consider the quality, not the quantity, of your faith, and in who you are placing your trust!
-
We are keeping in line with our series on the parables of Jesus, and Pastor Gabe, one of our Connections Pastors, is leading through Matthew 13 and who are as believers PLANTED in Christ. We hope this message encourages you and helps you to consider what type of soil your faith has been planted in.

This week we are given the message from Pastor Dillon, director of Heartland Ministry and College based out of River of Life Church. He is sharing the impeccable nature of God through the many amazing stories of some women from the Bible. When disappointment and failure happen in life, it can be a confusing time for a Christian who is often told to keep their head high. However, we learn that defeat is not the end. Enjoy this message today!

We are ending our Blueprints with a challenge: how are we laying the blueprints for living for Christ for our world? Are we helping or hurting our world by the way we live? Tune in for a great and challenging message!
-
We are in week 2 of our new series, Blueprints. This week, we are passing the baton... both metaphorically, and literally. Retired Lead Pastor Denny Curran took some time to speak on the importance on laying the framework for his family of why faith is so important, and how Jesus was and continues to be the cornerstone of the legacy that has been built at River of Life. Pastor Kirby is then given the baton to carry on the legacy at River of Life, while also sharing his next steps as well.

We are jumping into a new series this month all about how to LIVE a better, more fulfilling life. Often times, when we are given blueprints, they are made with the intention for a lasting building. But what if the foundation you are building on is soft, and not solid? Listen to this intriguing podcast on how to build CORRECTLY. Your life will depend on it!

We are in a unique and pioneering age at River of Life. Our Pastor, Denny Curran, has faithfully led the church for almost 30 years. He brought along Kirby St. John many years ago as a youth pastor, and they both worked together to spread the gospel of Jesus to our community and surrounding areas. Kirby would eventually go on to lead the state youth ministry as our District Youth Director. It is fitting that Kirby would take on the mantle of lead pastor of River of Life as Denny retires and focuses his attention on other ministry. Listen to Kirby's heart as he shares his passion and focus for the next generation of believers, and how he will lead our congregation to continue to Know, Grow, and Show Jesus!

We are in the last week of Denny sharing his favorite topics. As we are readying the next season of our church, Denny is sharing his final thoughts with the church as lead pastor. This weekend, he shared one of his most passionate, heartfelt messages. The Holy Spirit is often seen as a denominational, uncomfortable topic that many have either veered away from or has motivated primarily the ministries of others. In Denny's eyes, he's not as much concerned with the these things as he is in the desire he wants our church to have for more of God's Spirit. We are witnessing history at River of Life as we watch the transition of leadership unfold; ultimately, the one who is leading the way is the Holy Spirit. Enjoy this message!

We are gearing up for the next couple of weeks as Denny shares his favorite topics. As we are readying the next season of our church, Denny is sharing his final thoughts with the church as lead pastor. This weekend, he shared one of his favorite topics, healing. Healing is not a way that God rewards good behavior, but it is an expression of His heart for us, and a glimpse into what life without sin can look like. But we are vessels, and are proposed as believers to be the vessels he uses, not the ones to receive the glory! We hope you enjoy this message!
