Med det sosiale støttesystemet som bakteppe, avdekker vi kompleksiteten han møtte på, og vi belyser kampene han sto overfor. Her løfter vi fram hvordan Jawad tok kontroll over sitt eget liv.

Lalla Coulibaly created DABA for herself, and found that there was a desperate need in the market for just such a platform: a network of approved, accessible haircare providers for curly/textured hair in Norway. She shares some of the personal motivations & obstacles, and the powerful impact it has had on a large population of people who are under-represented in the industry. The industry too benefits of her platform as they amend their practices to become more inclusive and attract a new client base.
