Emergency Room: The Covid Diaries, is a true-life look behind the headlines first-hand account of what it was like behind the scenes at a major American hospital as the Covid-19 pandemic swept through the United States as seen by nurses and doctors who dealt with the unprecedented crisis every day.Told through the eyes of Guy Maddison, a Registered Nurse at a level one trauma center in Seattle, Washington, Emergency Room tracks the on-the-ground medical response as the virus arrived on US shores. We learn about the massive operations required to protect healthcare workers and the public from the disease, the personal fears and anxieties of patients and staff, and what went right and what went horribly wrong.Anchored by journalist Matthew Hall, who steers us through the often harrowing and sometimes humorous journey asking the questions medical and epidemiology newbies want to know and help explain why this story remains as relevant today as April 2020.

Bob Ramsay, the Toronto writer, has a unique take on the world that will have you saying: “Hmm...I never thought of it that way.”
Twice a week, he tackles the political and personal issues of the day. Everything from craven politics and unchecked ambition, to secret sauces, bitter loss and fist-pumping redemption. They’re stories to live by – quirky, high-style, tear-jerking, funny ha-ha, sometimes funny peculiar. In fact, his blogs don’t walk down the sidewalk and browse in the windows. They sneak into alleyways and come out onto different worlds. Alex Brown narrates each mini-cast to bring it all to your ears and imagination.
RamsayWrites mini-casts are written by Bob Ramsay, voice by Alex Brown, and produced/edited by Kyle Fulton. -

We humans are emotional creatures. Yet in this world of information, we need to be rational constantly to not fall for the wrong information. How can we know if the opinion is right or wrong? How can we see the bigger picture when there is so much information? Understanding how to navigate yourself in the information traffic is something that will be explored in this podcast. Through discussing all sides of one topic, I want to create a safe platform for all sides to voice out their opinions and through that, hopefully we can come to a more holistic viewpoint of the world.

We’re Alex and Dave, and we’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore! Join us as we take you through the topics that are giving us the most grief each week. Sometimes it’s big important stuff like the state of the world we live in, and sometimes we’re mad that bags of chips seem to be filled with more air than chips. Either way, we have issues and we need to work through them.
