Robert and Tom are at the helm this week and what a week it has been. The Super Bowl was all EV all the time, with a massive number of ads for EV's ran during the broadcast. Ford has shut down the F-150 "lightning" assembly line in the wake of some battery issues and Tesla is recalling 300,000 + vehicles for problems with FSD. Large scale solar projects are being piloted in California with the hope of someday covering the aqueduct in solar panels. All that and more on this weeks show.

Topics up for discussion this week are auto window wiper settings on the model 3, The recent price reductions of the Model 3 and Y and the impact on market share these price reduction can have for Tesla, also on the slate is an interview in Slate with Bloomberg news Tesla beat writer Dana Hull and an Iberian wind farm that just got a major solar panel upgrade. Joel, Robert and Tom are your hosts for Episode 260. The first episode of 2023 and it's a doozy (sp). A bit longer than usual as there is a lot going on in the world of Tesla and Elon. We discuss the final delivery numbers for 2022, spoiler alert, they are pretty good, but not great. There is a discussion about FSD...I know, I know it's enough already, but it's such a critical part of Tesla's future that we can't seem to help ourselves. We discuss the lack of female crash test dummies and the risk that poses to female drivers and passengers as a result, and a couple of companies that are working to rectify that major safety shortcoming of the auto industry. We hope you enjoy the show and please leave us a review on whatever platform you listen to us on.

Tom, Robert and Mel are your hosts on this weeks journey though Teslaland!. There is as always a lot going on. We discuss Ford and it's path to profitability for the F-150 Lightning and beyond. There is a precedent setting legal case in Washington state on the agenda as well as the normal tangent filled streams of conversation you all know and love. Enjoy and Happy Holidays to all.

One of our favorite things to do is ask google questions. This episode we might have gone a bit overboard on that. There is a discussion about Toyota and the initiation of a group to rethink it's EV strategy yet again, the third time is the charm. The Hyundai battery factory in Georgia and the usual tangent festival you've come to know and love. Apologies for Joels audio which is at times not good and at other times just bad. While Robert could not join us for the show he was able to send in a pretty amazing SC report and a media pick that is sure to delight.
Enjoy the show.

Can you believe we made it to show 250? Neither can we. We are ever so grateful for your support over the years and we can't wait for the next 250!
We discuss the the fact that Greece was 100% renewable powered for a short time recently, a super sized/super powerful wind turbine, Tesla opening services/sales/delivery centers in New Mexico despite state laws requiring independent dealerships, and a whole bunch more. Be sure to listen all the way to the end for some outtakes.
Enjoy.

It's Joel and Robert and Joel and Robert alone who carry the torch for the show this week. Mel is still out of the country and Tom is well....he is not well and we shall leave it at that. Rest assured the whole team will be back at it together next week. At least we hope you can rest assured. The big A.I. day event is the main topic of discussion this week. So kick back and enjoy the conversation about the future full of robots that work in factories and the robots that drive them there. Enjoy.

Joel and Robert welcome the Secretary of the Western Australia Tesla Club and the mythological namesake of the media picks segment to guest host the show this week. They discuss a two week long journey around the whole of Australia in a Model Y, Starlink RV mode, the future of Supercharging, and how Tesla owners and vehicles can help the grid in times of high electricity demand. Enjoy
