Sometimes there are conversations that you walk away from and you are changed forever. This is a conversation both Amanda B. Hinton and I will be unpacking for a while. It was so beautiful to connect on such a deep level.

In this conversation we talk about Amanda’s own experience of burnout. Here we discuss pregnancy loss, neurodivergence and what it means to grapple with our identity. Are we at war with ourselves? This conversation goes deep very quickly, and we also touch upon the healing nature of writing, nature and connection. Amanda is such a wonderful storyteller so I know you will just love this episode. I cannot wait to hear how it lands with you.

    Biography

Amanda Hinton is an editorial strategist, writer and editor with nearly 20 years of experience spanning marketing, entrepreneurial ventures and editorial production. Her career is defined by a passion for storytelling and fostering authentic connections with audiences. Amanda writes The Editing Spectrum, a bestselling newsletter that helps creators sharpen their newsletter skills, one core theme at a time. She also explores more reflective and contemplative work in her newsletter, The Listening Field, where she nurtures her writing practice while offering somatic exercises and journaling prompts to help writers explore creativity, inner belonging and grounding.

When she’s not writing on Substack, Amanda partners with writers and creative entrepreneurs as a strategic and intuitive collaborator, guiding their newsletter and storytelling journeys. • Hello!

I am super excited to be sharing with you the introductory episode of The Burnout Rebellion Podcast. This episode provides you with an overview of what to expect in Season 1 of the podcast.

Over the last 2 months I have been having some truly wonderful conversations with some amazing humans who have navigated their own burnout. They have pivoted their lives in a direction that is more aligned with who they truly are. It has been truly inspiring.
