Jazz pianist Mike Bond talks with me about the dangers of idolizing success and comparing yourself to other artists as well as about the importance of putting your creative curiosity first.
Guest BioMike Bond started playing piano early, playing in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall when he was just six years old. After competing classically for seven years, he began studying jazz. He has developed a growing audience in both the NYC music scene and around the world and is currently serving as the music director for Tap Dance Kid at NJPAC alongside award winning director and choreographer Savion Glover. Mike’s first album, The Honorable Ones, will be releasing later this year.
