Whether you're dealing with overstimulation from the kids, riding an emotional rollercoaster, or navigating conflicts, this practice offers a simple yet effective way to ground yourself and regain stability.Embodied Centering practice:
Notice when you feel off-centered or overwhelmed during the day.Ground yourself by feeling all four corners of your feet pressing into the ground.Find your height and length, from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head.Locate your center of gravity, usually along your belly, and explore micro movements to stabilize it.Feel into the depth of your body, from the front to the back, and from side to side.Connect with your purpose and what matters to you, allowing it to fill the space of your body.Practice purposefully moving off balance and finding your center, even in moments of imbalance.By integrating this somatic practice into your daily routine, you can cultivate a sense of calm and resilience, empowering yourself to navigate the challenges of motherhood with grace and presence.
