He holds BS in Biblical Studies and Youth Ministries, an MAR in Church Ministries, a Masters of Divinity (MDiv), a Masters of Theology (ThM), and a PhD in Biblical Theology. His desire is to teach others how to pray through things and how to discuss Biblical truths of the Kingdom of God, the Role of the Holy Spirit, Intimacy with God and Inner-healing through prayer. His most recent authored works are Pray Through It: Letting God Right Your Story and “Worship in the Gospel of John” in Biblical Worship: Theology for God’s Glory (Biblical Theology for the Church). Pieter holds a degree in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University. He is an aspiring Anglican deacon and has spoken widely on celibacy, discernment, and Christian sexuality.

AG was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. She attended Lynchburg College, now the University of Lynchburg, and graduated with a degree in Health and Physical Education. She lives with her husband and dog, “Beamer”, in Lynchburg.AG started her career in the public school system teaching Middle school heath and PE for four years. This gave her a firsthand view into the over sexualized culture in today’s media and schools. As a result of this and her own past struggles, she recognized a great need for resources and support for women in the church.

ABOUT WAILER:Wailer and his wife Adena have been married since 2005, kindling the soul-sparks of six children out into the world during the first ten years of their marriage. The Giles family has been claimed by two dogs as their pack of humans. They’ve been restoring an 1893 Victorian home since 2011 which has also become an ongoing exercise in relational renovation.
Among Wailer’s most favorite disciplines and delights: singing, songwriting, guitar, chess, jiujitsu, Hebraic studies, writing, all things outdoors and conversations that traverse the soul. He enjoys just enough astrophysics to be pretentious about it. And he has classified dessert into two categories: chocolate and everything else. Wailer enjoys cinema where the bad guys get pummeled… perhaps a little too much.
Prior to his full-time employment at Proven Ministries, Wailer spent 16 years as a craftsman in slate & metal roofing, with several of those years running his own business. His outlandish dream job for an alternate universe would be that of a sumo wrestler. However, his position as Director of Outreach has become a *very* close second. “It’s a labor, but it doesn’t feel like a job!”
Wailer grew up in the family legacy of two grandfathers and a Dad who exemplified covenant fidelity their entire married lives. Due in large part to their godly influence, he never encountered pornography in any form during his formative years and has remained free of that exposure or struggle ever since. His sons and daughters walk the same path into their teenage years. Wailer is passionate about cultivating this kind of generational inheritance among families and faith communities all over the nation; he believes this is our collective calling as children of light in a darkened world.

Sherry Hoppen has lived in West Michigan her entire life, and has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Internationally, she has never lived more than five miles from her childhood home. She worked in various areas of a pregnancy care ministry for over ten years, first as a volunteer then as an employee. She and her husband have three adult children and four grandchildren and love being active in whatever they do. As empty nesters, they enjoy cycling and finding new trails to explore together.
