Happy day after thanksgiving and merry Christmas friends! We are full force Christmas now and with today being Black Friday, I wanted to share a Facebook live Jenna Michael (see episode 105) and I did together a couple weeks ago. One major thing that adds to the Christmas stress plate is : GIFTS. But does to really have to? Jenna gives us some amazing tips on how to reduce the stress of gift giving!

Hey, Holistic Wellness Warrior 👋On Tuesday, in the Simple Wellness Solutions for Motherhood Stress, Jenna Michael and I had a great conversation on Christmas- gifts in particular. Hey, Holistic Wellness Warrior 👋Have you decorated for Christmas yet? We have and while we did it it turned into a decluttering/purging weekend. It's hard for it not to, when taking down and putting up decor and going through storage and so forth. And now I NEED the message in this episode, so I thought you might too!I interviewed my friend and organizer, Kristina Borseti on episode 108. I also was on her show sharing my story, my 4 wellness actions, how clutter is an anxiety trigger, and how to prioritize and organize time. It's a packed full episode, but packaged in a concise, clear way. And since it's now the season for clutter (whether you are getting ready to purge it all, or do it after Christmas or decor is like clutter to you!) I wanted to share this episode here. SO many things can be stressors this time of year that send us into anxiety, so let's SIMPLIFY, declutter, organize and plan for less stress.

Did you know that kids are developing their identity in their first 8 years of life. So as a mom raising kingdom kids, it's crucial that we help our kids learn this identity. AND its counter culture. The culture around us and the lies that are fed to us daily are what you are, what you have, what you do and what people say about you. And that's not true. The only one who can identify you is the one who made you and you are His child, His masterpiece and He defines who you are. So first, you have to know this- that's why I love belief cards, we rewrite the beliefs that you have that say…. "I have to be a good mom, I have to do xyz and everything else so that I have a good mom and others think so too"....OR "I'm so busy and can't do all the things required of me, run a great business, run a safe home, raise great humans"..... "I have to look the part and have all the nice, trendy things and so do my kids to be a good mom" ….THESE are all lies that we can rewire - write TRUTH on your neuro pathways instead with belief cards. We do this in my coaching as we work together, because there are for sure layers and deep roots to these lies. We have to dig them up at the root to connect the neurons completely- it takes consistency and accountability. I needed a coach to actually do it, and it changed my brain and my life, so that's what I will do for you. And at the same time we can partner with creating deep rooted beliefs in your kids of who they are! I can hold you accountable to doing that because I know you want that for your kids. You want your kids to be rock solid in their beliefs about their identity so that they can detect lies of the enemy that come from kids at school or social media telling them otherwise. Hey, Holistic Wellness Warrior 👋You my friend, have probably said the following words more than once within the past week: worry, stress, and anxiety. Today, I want to talk about these three feelings and what they mean, how they’re different, and if there’s such a thing as a “healthy” level of these emotions.
Let’s start by saying that worry, stress, and anxiety are all part of life and part of motherhood. They’re natural responses to the challenges we face. But, God also doesn’t want us to live in constant fear, anxiety, or stress. So, let’s break each of these down together.And ALSO, if you have said these words, then I KNOW, ME TOO, I GET IT! I was there and oftentimes use all of them and include overwhelmed, exhausted, maybe even burned out. BUT, I found a way to learn what my feelings were telling me and find a place of peace. Honestly, that peace that passes understanding. I took intentional action and found myself with more time, energy, presence and peace! Do you want that? I know you do! Because, I can guarantee between the diapers, bathroom trips, 20 snacks, getting dinner in the crockpot, work requests, and trying to squeeze in a workout, or some prayer time with God... your plate is overflowing and you can't seem to fit it all on, but NOTHING can come off. Let's just chat about it for 15 min! While the kids are having lunch or while playing taxi driver or while they are playing in the backyard..let's chat about how you CAN find more time, energy and peace in this exact season you are in. And no, I’m not just talking about the chemicals in your cleaning supplies—I’m talking about the toxic people, toxic conversations, toxic foods, and the environmental toxins that can weigh you down physically, mentally, and emotionally.
