We two new shows to review as well as one that has been running in London for many many years, but it's a first time seeing it for one of us!
First up we have the National Theatre's new musical of Roald Dahl's The Witches, directed by Lyndsey Turner with book and lyrics by Lucy Kirkwood, music and lyrics by Dave Malloy.
Next is our review of Cold War, a new play with music at The Almeida Theatre, directed by Rupert Goold, with book by Conor McPherson and music by Elvis Costello.
Lastly we review the West End's second longest running musical, Andrew Llyod Webber's The Phantom of the Opera.

We went to see Theatre Club FAVE, Jenna Russell, in the new production of Flowers For Mrs Harris at The River Side Studios; We have our second review of James Graham's play Dear England, about Gareth Southgate captaining the England squad, now that it has transfer into the West End after a sell out run at The National Theatre; and finally we went to see Birmingham Royal Ballet's new work, Black Sabbath: The Ballet at Sadlers Wells.

An exciting new production of Romeo and Juliet at The Almeida directed by Rebecca Frecknall. James Graham's new play, Dear England, about England football manager Gareth Southgate, as played by Joseph Fiennes at The National Theatre, directed by Rupert Goold. And finally, the all-taping Broadway classic 42nd Street which is currently on it's UK tour, and that we saw at Sadlers Wells.

In this episode we review three exciting new musical productions: One of our favourite company's returns with another Gilbert and Sullivan operetta in the form of Sasha Regan's All Male The Mikado at Wilton's Music Hall; The Menier Chocolate Factory have a brand new musical adaptation of the Noir classic The Third Man; and lastly The Curious Case of Benjamin Button returns to Southwark Playhouse to their new Elephant venue and in an expanded production form the 2019 original that we so loved on this podcast.

We're back, with three fabulous musicals to review. One of our favourite new British musicals, Operation Mincemeat, has mades it's way from the London fringe to the glittering West End and we went to see if in it's new home at The Fortune Theatre. A bold new production of the classic Broadway musical How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying has just opened at The Southwark Playhouse and we have our review hot off the presses. Lastly, the Almeida's new musical adaptation of the beloved book, The Secret Life of Bees is about to complete it's run, but why not listen to our review anyway!
