  • AFTER 2.5 YEARS OF REQUESTING HIS HONORABLE PRESENCE- Judge J Middleton agreed to come on my show.  When the pandemic hit, many courts went to "Zoom' style hearings and Judge Middleton secured a channel and his town/court system secured "Zoom Licenses" not in anticipation for the shutdown, but ready to go, nonetheless.  After some great (or terrible) viral cases, Middleton became a Rock Star Judge.  My thoughts are he was/is Fair and Firm.  The guy you respect but don't want to be in front of.  His court cases have been seen by A&E Court Cam and many other shows due to the sporadic events that can and will happen during a court case.  I fell in love with him and his laid-back demeanor, his classic rock vibe as he sang songs while he launched his stream.  This is the first of NONE- with respect to interviews and I feel we hit some very common questions and answers that perhaps we're all thinking during many of these cases.  We also hit on Sov Cits and much more.
Enjoy this exclusive interview with the almighty Judge Jeffery C Middleton

‘YOU SORT OF HAVE TO PUTYOURSELF IN THE FRAME OF MIND OF SERVING THE MUSIC. IT'S SORT OF SACRED GROUND,VITO BRATTA IS A VERY, VERY HIGHLY RESPECTED GUITAR PLAYER, WHAT HE (BRATTA) DIDAT THAT TIME WITH THOSE SONGS, AND AS A SONGWRITER, THERE WAS NO REASON FOR METO TRY DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT”

THE keys aredifferent, the tempos are different.
WE TRIED TO STAY TRUE, I TRIED TO STAY TRUE TO THE SONGS, I COMPARE IT RECITINGTO A CLASSIC POEM, YOU CAN HAVE A DIFFERENT NARRATOR (VOICE) BUT THE WORDS HAVETO BE THE WORDS.  THAT WAS THE INTENTION THATWAS CREATED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I TRYTO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN WAS THEN AND WHAT (IS) NOW, IT WAS ON ME TO FIND WAYSTHESE SONGS WOULD EXIST IN THESE NEW KEYS (ABOUT A FOURTH DOWN)

MIKE’SVOICE HAS MATURED OVER THE YEARS.

IT’S PRETTY SURREAL TO COME HOME FROMA SHOW AND WRITE TO VITO AND “YOUR NAME WAS MENTIONED SO MANY TIMES, AND ITSEVIDENT HOW MUCH PEOPLE LOVE YOU AND ADMIRE YOU”, SO IT’S NOTHING BUT SUPPORTFROM VITO, IT’S REALLY GREAT.

    IT’S SURREAL IN A WAY.

REGARDING VITOBRATTA’S CONTRIBUTION TO WHITE LION: HE IS SPECTACULAR,  AS YOU STUDY THESE SONGS, IT’S NOT JUST THESOLOS, ALSO HIS RHYTHM WORK AND ALL THE LITTLE NUANCES, ALL THE OPEN STRINGWORK UNDER THE vocal IS REALLYSPECTACULAR, REALLY REWARDING TO FIGURE OUT.

38:20            WILL YOU EVER HAVE A MEETINGWITH VITO?

  • I recently saw a post about a customer who went to a restaurant in Minnesota noting the questionable "Health and Wellness" charge.  I called the restaurant to find out why there were charging this rate and I'm certain you can guess how they justified it.  We also find out what a "Frickle" is and discuss my recent experience at Rock N Brews at LAX where Gene and Paul are tossing in a 20% tip on overpriced beers!
On This That and the Other, we dive deep into this massive scandal! :)

  • In Light of Founding Guitarist WAYNE SWINNY of Saliva, who passed away today 03/22/2023, I wanted to upload and share his final in person interview for radio; along w/ singer of 12 Years, Bobby Amaru whom invited me out to chat and see their show with their new drummer on Fremont Street in Las Vegas.
We will all miss Wayne whom I had the pleasure to tour with in 2018 quite extensively when I was in Tantric.  I send love and light to their fans, bandmates and of course his family.
    He was 59.

IT AGAIN LEADS TO BUSINESS ISSUES (PUBLISHING, SONG WRITING ETC, HOWEVER THEBAND WERE EQUAL PARTNERS).  IT APPEARSTHAT LIKE WHITE LION, PRIDE AND GLORY WOULD LEAVE THE RHYTHM SECTION TO NOT GETEQUAL CUTS OF ALL OF THE BUSINESS ASPECTS (I READ THAT AS PUBLISHING,SONGWRITING).

“IT REALLY COMESDOWN TO WHAT DO YOU WANT? DO YOU WANT TO BE IN A “BAND”?  IF YOU’RE GONNA TAKE THE LEAD ROLE, YOU ALSOHAVE TO TAKE THE ROLE OF RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE IT’S FAIR FOR EVERYBODY& THAT EVERYBODY IS HAPPY”

HE DOESN’T BLAME MIKE AND VITO, HE BLAMESMANAGEMENT THAT WAS AS I INTERPRET AS SHORTSIGHTED.

39:40         GREG BELIEVES BEYOND THE BUSINESSISSUES, THE BAND COULD HAVE SURVIVED IN OTHER MARKETS DESPITE THE MUSICALCLIMATE CHANGING.

40:30         I ASK POINT BLANK- “HOW DO YOU GET TOTHE GOAL LINE OF RECORDING/RELEASING THE S/T DEBUT PRIDE AND GLORY ALBUM ANDBAIL.  HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?  “SIMILAR ISSUES”

46:00         GREG RESPONDS TO SEEING “TRAMP’SWHITE LION” WITH MIKE TRAMP’S 2005-2009 VERSION OF THE BAND. “I WAS SMILING WHILE I WASWATCHING IT”

48:15         WHEN’S THE LAST TIME YOUPLAYED A WHITE LION SONG?  GREG PLAYS “RADARLOVE” IN THE LEGENDS OF CLASSIC ROCK BAND WHICH DID EXTENSIVE TOURING OF 60PLUS DATES IN 2022.  WE TRANSITION INTOWHAT’S GOING ON NOW WITH THE LEGENDS BAND.

  • Over the past year or so, I've kept up w/ ANDY DICK (NEWS RADIO, ZOOLANDER, EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, DANCING WITH THE STARS).  TTTO donated some money when he was apparently down and out, and a strange "Friendship" (if you will) began.
We hadn't spoken to Andy since March (https://www.podcasts.com/this-that-the-other-radio-show-with-troy-patrick-farrell-9875be9a7/episode/03022022-ttto-andy-dick-update) and when news broke of his jail sentence, I thought I'd reach out to see how he was doing and what is in store for him post jail.  (Andy Dick sentenced to 90 days in jail in groping case, must register as sex offender (msn.com))
We chatted for more than 10 minutes before he whisked himself away after asking for me to call him back "in an hour".
    Check out this exclusive update.
