Born in Reunion Island with parents
from Madagascar, Carole grew up
dancing to the beat of ballroom
rhythms and singing to the melodies
of French musicals.
Loyal to the Tropic of Capricorn,
Carole journeyed to Perth, Western
Australia in pursuit of education and
new horizons.
Ironically, it’s when she’s the furthest
away from home that she truly
discovered and deep-dived into her
native island music and dance, sega
and maloya.
Following a happy stint in the Maloya
band Salama, Carole now leads the
vibrant Tchega playing Creole folk
music with contemporary influences.

I’m Tiff, the owner of Fempower and an Instructor for our Heels, Pole, and Stretch & Flex classes.
I fell in love with dance as a very young girl, and while my first introduction to the stage probably wasn’t what my mother envisioned (I refused to go on after a whole year of Saturday morning classes), I now crave the limelight!
But don’t stress, I didn’t start Fempower to get my five seconds of fame, or force you to get yours; I started it because I was over the age of 30 and found myself kicking and leaping across studio floors with teenagers (who I respect and adore, but cannot keep up with) thinking, what am I doing here? My days of competition and comparison are behind me, and so on the streets of Bunbury CBD on a random Friday, the idea of Fempower Dance Co was born.
I designed a space for people who wanted to dance for fun, where we don’t have to mind our manners or worry about young ears listening to adult conversations, and where we can move sensually, sexually, without fear or concern of judgment. I am so proud of the inclusive and empowering space I have created, and look forward to welcoming you into it this year!

Having a flair for the dramatic since birth, Havana Milkshake grew up with a love of theatre, movies, and singing, and after stumbling across burlesque in 2019, immediately fell in love, taking as many classes in all different genres of the tease with as many different teachers as she could, and performing and volunteering whenever possible. In 2022, she made it through to the finals of The Apprentease WA competition, receiving the only two standing ovations for her comedy act, and has since been flung headfirst into awesome opportunities such as performances at Fringe festival, and teaching classes with Sugar Blue Burlesque since early 2023. Incredibly, Havana managed to accomplish all of this, despite a heart-breaking case of lactose intolerance.
Now, seducing audiences with her tremendous titbits and bountiful bon-bons, along with a generous dollop of dairy-free cream and rainbow sprinkles, she will leave you begging for a second helping.
So, what's your flavour?
