  • In this episode, we’ll be concluding our two-part series on Sandra Sollie’s case. Last week we discussed what happened between the day Sandra went missing, up to around the one year anniversary of her disappearance, and we left you on a bit of a cliff hanger.

Today, we’ll be giving you a quick recap to bring you back up to speed, talk about what transpired on and around the one-year anniversary, divulging some very interesting details that came to light as the years went on, and, of course, we’ll end the episode by discussing theories.

If you have any information regarding what happened to Sandra Sollie please contact the New York State Police at 585-398-4100 or Richard Ingraham at 585-465-8769.

  • Today, we’ll be discussing the case of a woman who, while 7 1/2 months pregnant, vanished after being last seen shopping at a local mall. With very little clues, barely any leads, and the publics focus aimed towards another case of a young girl who went missing the same day, this case would soon go cold. But in 1996 a dogged private investigator would take on the case pro bono, and decades later, he is still pushing for answers.

  • Announcement discussed at the top of the episode!

We just want to touch on a relatively big change to the podcast that you may have missed if you don’t follow us on social media. Last week we announced that we’re going to be changing our upload schedule from weekly to biweekly. We have a lot going on in other areas of our lives lately and due to the additional responsibilities on our shoulders, we decided it was time to make a change. We never want the quality of our content to suffer due to time constraints in our personal lives and everyone’s story that we cover on this show deserves the same time and effort you’ve become accustomed to, and we refuse to put out lesser quality content because it’s rushed. We thank you all for your support over the past year and a half and hope you understand why we felt compelled to make this change.

In this episode, we’ll be discussing the case of a young mother who dropped her daughter off at her parents house one night to go out on a date but she never returned. Five months later, her skull was found in a remote area over thirty miles from where she was last seen. Although there hadn’t been much detailed reporting in the early days of this case, renewed interest in the past decade has pushed it into the public eye again. But in order for this case to be solved, authorities feel as though someone who knows something must speak up.

If you have any information regarding who killed Elizabeth Berquist in December of 1977, please contact the State Police at 724-439-7111 and please know that the Fayette County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in Elizabeth's case and you may also reach out to them to provide a tip at 888-404-TIPS.

  • Today, we’ll be discussing the case of a five year old girl who attended a Christmas party with her mother on a freezing cold night in early December of 1989. Just as she and her mother were getting ready to leave and head back home for the night, the little girl was abducted with nearly 100 witnesses present, but it seems as though, no one saw a thing. After interviewing witnesses about what transpired that night, authorities quickly honed in on their prime suspect, but would their case against him be strong enough when the girls body had yet to be found?

  • We posted a couple days ago on social media about how both Jon and I are a bit under the weather right now, so we’ve got to delay this weeks scheduled episode covering Melissa Brannen’s Case until next Tuesday, March 28th, 2023. But today, we’re re-releasing an episode that is near and dear to our hearts. It’s a case we covered over a year ago, back when our format for this podcast was very different than it is today.

This is a story that’s continued to stick with us, in part due to our interview with Gerri, Theresa Corley’s sister, which provided us so much insight into not only Theresa’s case, but all the work Gerri continues to put in, trying to get justice for her sister nearly 45 years later. If you could please do us a huge favor and share this episode on your socials, that would be amazing. We want Theresa’s story to reach as many ears as possible. And please take a minute to follow the Facebook page that Gerri runs, which is dedicated to Theresa’s case; it’s called Justice for Theresa Corley Bellingham MA 1978. Gerri posts on there pretty regularly with updates.

In this episode, we will be covering the 1978 murder of Theresa Corley. While researching, we had the amazing opportunity to speak with Gerri, Theresa's sister, at length regarding her case. Theresa was 19 years old when she was found strangled to death along a Massachussetts highway. As we worked our way through the case, we learned of those most likely responsible, but also became aware of deep ties throughout the small town of Bellingham, that link many of the suspects together. As important as all of the cases we cover are, this one has become particularly meaningful to us, and we hope you take the time to listen.

  • Today, we’ll be discussing the case of a ten year old girl who was riding her bike around her neighborhood as she often did, but never came home. After several days of searching, her body was found and the hunt for her killer ensued. A suspect was named after a very short time but the details of the case just never seemed to match up to that suspect being involved. It’s been 33 years now and justice has yet to be served.

  • Today, we’ll be discussing the case of a seventeen year old girl who took a shortcut home one rainy night and was found murdered the following day. Over the years there hadn’t been much coverage of her case until those who’d suffered similar tragedies in the area, stepped in to assist. But even with that added assistance, and advancements in DNA technology, this case remains unsolved nearly 39 years later.

We’re going to have a relatively off the cuff conversation about the Netflix documentary, “The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker.” We’re looking to test out some varied content which we hope will keep things fresh for you, while also giving you more of our authentic selves. Don’t worry though, our coverage of unsolved cases won’t be going anywhere, that will always be our main form of content.
