Daphne Patton will talk about her childhood, from being born in Rome to an Italian father and an American mother, to growing up in Chicago. She'll talk about both hard and good times in her teenage years, as well as her time at University of Iowa. She'll touch on meeting her husband, raising children (including twins), and living for a year (or so) out of a truck travelling the country. The conversation ends when she begins to talk about her mother's passing and her current relationshiop with her father.
