The saying, "Expect nothing and you would never get disappointed" is something I have for a very long time disagreed with. In my opinion and realistically speaking, we can only go through life TRYING to stay detached from our expectations. We can only learn from the disappointments and give ourselves grace to try again.

Practicing and learning detachment has been a very tough journey for me, especially watching how social media makes it look so easy. I had to learn to take it slow and give myself grace as I let go of some things in my life to practice the art of detachment.

So I used to be someone that would constantly want things to go my way, and if they don't happen my way I would try to find ways to get what I want.
As you can imagine, my mindset has changed. Now I am learning to live my life with less force and more flow, and learning how to take closed doors as a lesson. In this episode, I share how I journeyed through this phase and lessons on living in flow.
