Season two of A Lifetime on Planet Groove is coming soon and this time Guy and Ed are taking a deep dive into the amazing live album, The Daptone Super Soul Revue LIVE at the Apollo, which was released in 2021.
Recorded in 2014 as part of the Daptone Super Soul Revue tour, it features explosive live performances from Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Charles Bradley, Antibalas, Saun and Starr, The Sugarman 3, Naomi Shelton & The Gospel Queens, Menahan Street Band, The Como Mamas, and The Budos Band.
In each episode, Guy and Ed talk to the people who made it.
