Whitney took a trip to New England alone with Emery, and while they were there, Emery contracted Herpangina. We talk all about traveling solo with a baby (Whitney gives some travel tips), and Jesse shows his medical ignorance.
We next go into the second part of our Food series: when to introduce different foods to your baby, and Whitney gives a checklist on starting solid foods (Jesse cannot understand that mushy foods are considered solid foods), and we give a list of food suggestions to get you started.

Whitney, Jesse, Emery, and Dewey left their home in Downtown Miami to escape Hurricane Irma. They rode the storm out in Jesse's childhood home an hour and a half northwest of Miami. Through tornado warnings, no power, and shuttered windows, Whitney and Jesse reflect on keeping their 14 month old entertained and safe through the storm.
