On episode 10 of the Change the Culture Podcast, Sarah. McArthur talks about the importance of sharing our stories with the world.
Sarah E. McArthur is the President and CEO of Power of XYZ, Certified IMPACT Personal Safety and Empowerment Self-Defense Instructor, Author, Life Coach, and overall intuitive and compassionate leader and advocate.
Sarah’s entrepreneurial spirit has opened doors in many avenues and practices, the most recent being Power of XYZ where she serves as President and CEO. Power of XYZ is a modern boutique creative agency dedicated to the element of storytelling, utilizing out-of-the-box approaches to tell the story of the people behind the brand. Through offering a multitude of media, business, consulting, marketing, and event services as elements of a deeper motivation to empower others to look and perform their best personally, professionally, and creatively.
Her story serves as an inspiration to others, through her perseverance, drive, and commitment to finding her flow and advocating for others to do the same. Sarah found passion and purpose in IMPACT through IMPACT Personal Safety of Colorado where she grew from student to instructor, and eventually Executive Director before moving into a more liminal space as a life coach, healer, and author. Through her journey, Sarah uncovered what drove her on a deeper level- empowering people to live their most authentic and empowered lives.
Often referring to herself as a “reluctant leader,” Sarah finds success through leading others by example. With core values such as compassion, empathy, understanding, resourcefulness, humility, and respect, Sarah leads a team and company with those values engrained in their daily operations, creating a culture where the individual is valued, understood, and encouraged. This approach, she believes, creates a team of resourceful and creative individuals who take great pride in their work, their journey, and most importantly, their growth.
Sarah spends her free time learning and exploring new ways to develop herself and assist others in finding their own paths. She aims to spend more time writing, exploring, and curiously examining the things that make us tick. Currently, she lives in the Alabama/Florida panhandle where she enjoys quality time with her husband and son, her friends and team, and her peculiar and highly opinionated dog, Max.
