Are you seen as just a tad over dramatic and a diva?
Do you make mountains out of molehills on a daily basis?
Then join your fabulous friends at The Big Gay Ordeal to hear about the trials and tribulations of being gay and the champagne problems that come with it.
From pop culture and celebrity hearsay to the daily grind of our fabulous lives, we will give you our verdict: Ordeal or no ordeal.
Our aim is to poke fun at the idea that most gay people are wildly over dramatic but in reality we may not be doing much to break down the stereotype.
Our advice to each other is awful and we set less than perfect examples, so we will, in fact, be terrible rolemodels to all who listen, you have been warned!
Created by Sean Dillon, James McCrudden and Caolán Kelly in Dublin, The Big Gay Ordeal is a weekly podcast, with new episodes on mondays. Taking stories from the news, celebrity lives and pop culture each week and relating them to the issues, both big and small, facing the LGBTQ+ community, they'll talk about their own experiences and poke fun at each other while adjudicating on listener's ordeals.
One minor inconvenience for mankind, one massive ordeal for us three homosexuals!
Find us where you get all good podcasts.

Presented by Professor Barry McCrea, Ireland's Generation X? a series of conversations about Ireland's in-between generation. “Generation X” describes the group of people born between 1965 and 1985, a generation caught between Baby Boomers and Millennials characterised by anti-establishment slacker culture, cynicism, irony, and— after the global economic crash — negative equity. An American term describing American lives, the moniker perhaps fails to accurately represent the experience of those who came of age during the 1980s and 1990s in Ireland. This series invites artists and writers who grew up in an Ireland shaped by the Troubles, social justice movements, EU membership, the Peace Process, and the Celtic Tiger, to share their work and reflect on the social and cultural influences at home and abroad. Presented by MoLI in partnership with the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies at the University of Notre Dame.
