During my summer holidays in Goettingen of Germany, I met a very special person to record an episode with.
AmirMohammad Rahimi is a 26-year-old master student of Biotechnology who lives in Goettingen. Typically, his studies are located in the University of Rome, Italy, a city which constitutes our main theme of discussion. He touches upon the Italian lifestyle, varying from the prices of a flat to the city's transportation and nightlife.
Additionally, Amir focuses on his national identity and analyzes some cultural and linguistic characteristics of Iran.
He also figures out the differences of the Iranian calendar, which now in Goettingen, allow him to celebrate his birthday 3 or 4 times in a row!
How lucky can that person be!
Happy birthday again and I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart!
Thank you for our wonderful discussion, Amir!

Emily Ntanou is a stand-up comedian from Katohi, Messolonghi, and also a graduate student of the department of Psychology (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki).
She is invited to my podcast in order to share her Erasmus experience in Dresden, the capital of Saxony Land (state) which is located in the eastern part of Germany.
Although she went through some difficult moments there, especially concerning the German language, Emily managed to embrace her fears, struggle with them, and finally lived the time of her life in Germany!
Erasmus changed her whole perception of living as well, something which is confirmed in this episode!
Thank you, Emily!

In this episode, I invited Thanasis Gkatzolis, a comedian from Thessaloniki who studied archaeology during the summer semester in Paris, France. Although we mainly joke around, we managed to preserve a serious conversation at some point, so here you are!
The issue of learning a foreign language is brought up again to our discussion, along with the stereotypes and politics in France.
Thanasis also refers to his experience in Paris during the fire of Notre Dame (15-16 of April 2019), focusing on the importance of this monument and the devastating impact that it had on the local and non-local people in France.
Before ending the episode, he gives his advice to anyone who is willing to travel or study in Paris!
Hope you like it!
Thank you Thanasis!
*(the subtitles of this episode will be uploaded soon!)

Alexandros Mouratidis, from Veroia, Greece is invited to my podcast to talk about his first Erasmus experience in Pontevedra, Spain!
Together, we discuss various issues that concern the difficulties of being exposed to a new language, cultural characteristics, while making some silly jokes at the same time, because Alexandros is, other than that, a Stand-up Comedy performer!
He lives in Mayotte right now, near Madagascar, where he is working as a volunteer worker of a European program. He also analyzes the political situation there and makes his comments on the lockdown period.
Hope you enjoy it! Thank you Alex!

This is me, and this is my new podcast, "Erasmus Corner".
Which means that, literally, that's me in the corner.
Now that I made my silly joke I can start my introduction.
A new idea of bringing people who have lived the experience of Erasmus
and are willing to share their moments with you!
Through this podcast, I want to show you that you don't always have to be perfect in English to communicate with someone from abroad. Plus, the only way to acquire a good level of fluency is through practicing, making mistakes, and being exposed to the language of your preference!
So, if you are willing to improve your English level, discover new things or live a whole new experience, Erasmus is the best option for you and my guests will confirm that!
There will be a Comedy Section as well, because I'm interested in Stand up Comedy, in which I will bring my comedic friends and talk about trips, comedy, and whatever comes up to our minds!
In this episode, I invited my friend Fuat, from Turkey, who talks about his 3 Erasmus experiences, even though we cannot stay serious together! It was recorded 3 weeks ago, so don't bear in mind any references for coronavirus. Hope you enjoy it!
*I have added Greek subtitles for those of you who need additional help with English! I hope I will find time to add subtitles to the rest of the episodes as well!
