We've got a very exciting episode today as we welcome Chelsea Cannar as our very first guest to the FramED pod. Chelsea was crowned 2025 UK Wedding Photographer of the Year at The Wedding Industry Awards only a few days ago and our very own Olly Knight got runner up.
We chat to Chelsea about how she got started in the industry, where she gets her inspiration from and we talk about the experience of winning the award last week. Olly might have written a song about her victory featuring references to the chicken skewers they ate before the ceremony.

We catch up after a busy week with Ollie shooting his first wedding of the year, James photographing an engagement shoot and Olly hosting Knight Class. We have a bit of time answering questions we've been sent in like "What's the worst thing you can do for your photography business" and "Do you like Instagram's new portrait grid?"
You might get to hear what James' favourite wedding snack is (clue: it's in the title), how Olly loves counting stairs and hear Ollie playing the sax!

James, Olly and Ollie chat about how their time off over Christmas went, what the best food item on their Christmas Day plates was and James being the not so naked chef.
The main chat was about camera gear. What did the boys start using back in the day and what do they use now? What lenses work best for different parts of the wedding days and is the Canon R6 mark ii better than the mark i?!

The boys return for their second podcast and the theme of this episode is how to shoot Winter weddings. What happens when light fades at 3pm and what settings should you use for low light?
We also chat about what our plans are for Christmas, James speaks French but doesn’t tell us how to say “overnight oats”, Olly feeds back from The Wedding Industry Awards and tries to describe a Bride’s dress and Ollie tells us about his recent trip to Paris. We also discover what happened after Olly ghosted James. Was the email in fact replied to the day afterwards?
We’ll be back in January for more! (Canon- even though James doesn’t want to upgrade to the R6 mark ii- we still want you to endorse this podcast…thanks)
