After a long unplanned hiatus the Healing Voices podcast is back and finds Jamie in conversation with Lucie Trinephi, an accomplished acupuncturist, artist and all-round healer. The conversation takes in Lucie's journey from Vietnam to Europe, choosing to train in acupuncture as a way to help her son, the different lineages of acupuncture that she's subsequently trained in and the Toyohari style that she now uses predominantly, nutrition and empowering people to take control of their health issues, and how suddenly reexperiencing childhood trauma led her into a decades-long artistic project.

Massage therapist and Rosen Method practitioner Pieter Maritz joins Jamie on the podcast to talk about the power of mindful touch and the inner work of the therapist.
After a stint as the owner of a busy catering business, it was a cancer diagnosis and recovery as well as work with plant medicine that brought Pieter to the realisation that he wanted to become a bodyworker. Setting out to learn the Rosen Method - a gentle, mindful form of bodywork that encourages the client to find a deeper connectiuon with their embodied feelings - Pieter first qualified as a massage therapist to build a career in bodywork while he underwent the long and involved process of becoming a Rosen Method practitioner. The conversation unfolds his story as well as touching on fascia, spirituality and the inseperability of mind and body.

Tasha Ponton is a modern spiritual healer. She's been on a healing path since a young age, having grown up in a spiritual household - she was taught to read Tarot by her mother at the age of eight - but it was only after a life coaching session, when the phrase "sound healing" popped into her head, that she began to pursue healing as a vocation.
Through her company Solaris Sound Healing she now offers a unique blend of sound healing, Tarot and shamanism, treating individuals, couples and groups both in-person and online.

In this episode of Healing Voices a conversation with massage therapist Claire Sands of Massage on the Mind explores her specialism of facial massage, which includes treating issues related to dysfunction of the temperomandibular joint - the joint which connects the jaw bone to the skull. Symptoms of TMJ dysfunction include clicking and popping sounds, chronic jaw tension, teeth clenching and grinding, headaches, migraines and even heavier periods.
