  • In episode 106 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield finish the year with a lasting Hollywood romance, that of Melrose Place actress and Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna and her husband, actor Harry Hamlin. This couple has been married for over two decades! We investigate to see what's working between their planets!

First, we start with Lisa and discover a water dominated chart, including a grand trine between the Sun/Mercury, Moon, and Neptune making her sensitive, emotionally deep and very compassionate. However, there is a strong fiery spark with Jupiter in Aries making a square to her Cancer Sun, revealing a highly independent and outspoken identity. Adding a Venus/Uranus sextile, we see that her approach to artistic/beauty projects and making money is definitely unique and unconventional.

Next, we analyze Harry’s chart and are not surprised to see this two time "Sexiest Man Alive" winner with a Sun and Moon conjunction in seductive Scorpio and a charismatic Venus/Mars conjunction in Virgo. This indicates a man with a high libido with a charming and attractive exterior. We also see a Mercury/Uranus trine, demonstrating heightened intelligence and a sharp mind.

Together, their synastry reveals the highly desirable Mars/Venus conjunction - proving there is a powerful attraction and natural compatibility. This is a "love at first sight" connection! Then they share trine mercuries in sensitive water signs, which makes for good listening and flowing communication and understanding. We do see a Saturn/Venus square telling us there may be disapproval and disagreements at times. There is also a Sun/Neptune square that can cause insecurity and doubt when it comes to vitality and personal power. With 26 years of marriage under their belt, these challenges have likely been worked out. Listen in to hear which Venus score we gave this long-lasting couple!

  • In episode 105 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on another old Hollywood couple, famed crooner Frank Sinatra and film star Ava Gardner. The two had an affair while both married to other people , but married in 1951. They then divorced in 1957.

First, we look at Ava’s chart and see a glamorous Leo Rising with a hardworking/ humble-beginnings Capricorn Sun. Along with a Mercury/Pluto opposition, we know that she worked very hard to overcome any mental barriers and stayed dedicated to her craft. Adding a mesmerizing stellium in Pisces which includes her Moon, this movie star was dreamy, intuitive, and highly sensitive.

Next, we look at Frank’s chart and find a naturally charming Libra rising - but with his chart ruler Venus in the sign of Capricorn, relationships demanded a lot of trial and error from him. That being said, his Sagittarius Sun making a square to Jupiter tells us all about his optimism despite challenges, and a desire for enormous wealth and abundance. Another Pisces Moon, he also had an extremely sensitive and romantic side to him.

Together, we see intense synastry - starting with positive and negative Sun/Moon aspects. On one hand, they could show support for each other, but on the other, they could also get in each other's way, causing conflicts. They do share the coveted Venus/Mars aspects in two different forms, which makes sense for why they were attracted to each other and tried to make things work. We see some trouble in Pluto oppositions to the Sun and Venus. This kind of intensity could create feelings of jealousy, revenge, and difficult power dynamics. Their marriage may have only lasted for six years, but they did stay lifelong friends.

Listen in to hear where in the chart that friendship could show up and what Venus score they received!

  • In episode 104 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield find a new Pop Star/NFL Player duo - Actress and Hailee Steinfield and Josh Allen. The pair started dating in May of 2023, and recently became engaged. In this episdoe we explore if their synastry shows stamina for a marriage!

Starting with Hailee, we see a nurturing Cancer rising but it gets hardened by a sharp Saturn square and opposing Capricorn Moon. As an Academy Award Nominee at age 13, this hard-working actress experienced professional responsibility from an early age and her chart proves it! Additionally, her fiery Sagittarius Sun getting a square from Mars in Virgo, shows she has a wealth of energy that needs to be applied in being of service to others to avoid overindulgence.

Next, we look into Josh’s chart and see an intense, charming, and somewhat intimidating Scorpio rising. With a Mars opposition to this ascendant, the "tough guy" persona can create a lot of conflict and confrontation whether he likes it or not. We see more Scorpionic energy with his Gemini Sun being opposed by Pluto, telling us that for him, the dark side of life is never far away. It's good that he has a family-oriented Cancer Moon which summons emotional support when he needs it.

Together, the synastry shows that they have a striking, mutual Venus/Ascendant conjunction. This creates a powerful and immediate attraction, adoration, and cooperation for both of them. Then we see a Jupiter Conjunction that reveals career growth is important to each of them. To add more receptivity between them, they share water Moons and earth Mercuries making their emotional bond strong and their communication styles similar. However, with Hailee's Moon (her chart ruler) getting a harsh square from Josh's Saturn, domestic harmony could be difficult to achieve. A possessive Pluto/Sun aspect also tells us shadow behavior could be activated to an intense degree.

Listen in to hear what Venus score this newly engaged couple received!

  • In episode 103 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on broadcast journalist and Vanderbilt royalty, Anderson Cooper and his former businessman beau, Benjamin Maisani. The two are romantically separated, but are co-parents to two children and have maintained a strong friendship.

First, we look into Anderson’s chart and see themes of caretaking and wanting to nurture/mother others, thanks to a Cancerian Midheaven conjunct Venus and a 7th house Moon opposing his Ascendant. This conveys that he is a family-oriented person with a deep need for emotional comfort in relationships. But with his Sun in the eighth house, getting a harsh square from controlling Pluto, there is great difficulty and lessons around family and power dynamics that occur when shared wealth is involved.

Next, we look into Benjamin’s chart and see a genius alignment between the Sun and Mercury in intellectual and forward-thinking Aquarius. This is an innovative man that needs to do things differently and on his own terms. Adding a supportive trine from Pluto in Libra, we sense that his social influence and networking skills are far-reaching. We are also glad to see that his moody Scorpio Moon gets some help from a sturdy and patient Venus in Capricorn.

Together, we find that this couple has a surprising number of aspects and find many between assertive cardinal signs. With sextile Mars’, trine Suns and sextile Saturns, their working relationship is impeccable. Both of their ego needs, in particular, get a big, supportive, boost from this relationship. But with Benjamin's burdensome Saturn conjunct Anderson's Sun and Ben's chaotic Uranus opposing Anderson's Moon, their domestic life seems difficult to say the least. Listen in to hear what Venus score we give these successful and wealthy co-parents.

  • In episode 102 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield explore a new listener submission and take on the flirting-but-not-yet-a-couple, Spiderman actor Andrew Garfield and Chicken Shop Date creator/host Amelia Dimoldenberg. These two are not dating, but fans couldn't help but notice their apparent chemistry over the course of several interviews and red carpet exchanges between the two. We take a closer look to see if this is just a flirtatious fling or something that could be the real deal.

First, we look at Andrew’s chart and find a compassionate, imaginative, and sensitive Pisces Rising. Adding in an expressive and creative Leo Sun (which makes a trine to his chart ruler Neptune), this man was born to work in the entertainment industry. His Sun/Venus conjunction gives him an attractive appeal, while his Aquarius Moon makes him friendship-oriented.

Next, we go over Amelia’s chart and see a distinct stellium in out-of-the-box Aquarius. This explains her unique style of interviewing celebrities which has catapulted her to fame and popularity. In particular her Sun/Venus conjunction adds a pleasing charm to her quirky approach. We also find a snippy and even harsh side to her personality thanks to a Mercury/Pluto square.

Their synastry reveals matching Aquarian Sun and Moon signs - telling us there is a fundamental compatibility and unspoken bond. They also share multiple, positive Mercury aspects, so we can say for certain that their mental exchange is deeply aligned and comfortable. However, with no Venus or Mars contacts and a sharp Mars opposition, the attraction might only be surface level.

Listen in to hear what Venus score this potential couple got!

  • In episode 101 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on an excellent listener submission to dive into the synastry of artist/activist/rock couple royalty: John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

First, John’s chart gives us a strong, independent, and competitive Aries rising. Essentially starting the Beatles at age 16, this initiator got the extra push his Sun and Mars in Libra needed by partnering up with Paul McCartney. He was then able to capitalize on his Aquarius Moon’s need for connection and inclusion within a group. With a stellium in the sixth house, the service and dedication to a peace movement was his life’s work.

Next, we cover Yoko’s chart and find a partner-oriented Libra rising with an avant-garde and experimental Venus in Aquarius. Then, her imaginative and nonlinear Mercury in Pisces opposing Neptune brings in even more abstract thinking (and perhaps delusion at times). Lastly, with Saturn also in Aquarius, we see that group dynamics were a source of limitation and difficulty for her.

Together, their charts shock us with the amount of Uranian/Aquarian energy. Both had Sun aspecting Uranus, plus a Uranus/Ascendent conjunction tells us they were bound to break the mold and raise eyebrows as a duo. The sudden attraction of this radical coupling was fated. We also see Mercury trines, telling us their communication was deep, intuitive, and easy flowing. Their seven year age difference reveals a challenging Saturn square and a particular Moon/Saturn conjunction had us questioning this connection.

Listen in to hear how this unconventional and history making couple scored on the Venus scale!

  • In episode 100 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield celebrate their big milestone by giving listeners a special treat and doing the most important synastry of all, the synastry between themselves! First, we take turns reading each other’s charts! This gives all of you a nice preview of our personal chart reading styles. First Kristina studies Tara’s chart and notes the studious and intelligent Virgo rising and Mercury in Capricorn, with Tara confirming her love for knowledge and self-described "teacher's pet" vibes. We also see an incredible chameleon energy with a Sun/Neptune combo in the fourth house. And with Chiron on the MC, the public sees her for the healer she is. Next Tara takes on Kristina’s chart and notes the agreeable and charming Libra rising with a considerate and truth-focused Ninth House Venus in Cancer. With a Saturn opposition, though, patience is key when it comes to love and relationships. Tara also has an interesting suggestion for her Eighth House Sun, letting Kristina know that applying for grants and loans is likely to have a positive outcome for her! Together, powerful themes make total sense. Each having Saturn in the third house and synastry that creates positive aspects between Jupiter and Mercury, tells us this relationship is bound for success with all things intellectual and communication-based. Expansion through philosophy and belief systems is deeply noted here. We also encounter our coveted Sun/Moon trine and notice how each person brings an element that the other is low on. We knew this synastry would be good, but take a listen to hear just HOW good and what we rated ourselves!

  • In episode 99 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield elect to take on America’s first female Vice President, Kamala Harris and her husband, Second Gentleman, Doug Emhoff. The two were born days apart, giving them plenty of things in common!

First, we look at Kamala’s chart and find a witty, intelligent, and communicative Gemini rising. With Mercury, her chart ruler, conjunct her Libra Sun, she has a truly powerful air-y quality, making her mind a strong and sharp asset. Next, we see that she has the Moon in Aries, telling us she can be emotionally charged and fearless, making her bold and passionate when it comes to things she cares about.

With Doug’s chart, there is a similar story, as they were only born a week apart. The main difference is that Doug’s Moon is in serious Capricorn, which also creates a grand trine in Earth in his chart. This makes him reserved, hard working, and grounded. Earning an impressive career in law, this guy also likes a title of importance.

As their charts are almost mirrors of each other, they obviously have a lot of similarities. With matching Virgo Venus’, their love languages are the same and with a positive Jupiter/Moon connection there is emotional freedom given to one another. Their strong Libra energy makes for powerful dedication to their partnership as well as good teammates when it comes to fighting for justice. With different Moon signs though, can their domestic life work for both of them? A final look into their composite chart tells us everything we need to know for us to give them their Venus score.

Listen in and remember to vote by next Tuesday, November 5th!

  • In episode 98 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield venture into Scorpio season with Netflix's "Love is Blind" co-hosts and married couple, Nick and Vanessa Lachey - both Scorpios who share the same birthday! The couple has been married for 12 years, what is holding their bond together? Join us as we explore their natal charts!

We start with Nick, and see that his status seeking Capricorn rising takes life seriously and also lends him a well defined square jaw. With his Scorpio Sun and a Taurus moon, we see that his tendency toward possessiveness and privacy plays an important role in his personality. Adding a T-Square involving Venus, Pluto, and Saturn, relationships prove to be where he encounters extreme and tumultuous experiences.

Moving onto Vanessa's chart, we find a broody and deep Scorpio Sun that's getting a sharp opposition from Chiron, telling us that her sense of self-worth and identity are extremely important areas of healing in this lifetime. She also has a heavy Venus/Saturn aspect, which means that relationships prove to be about longevity and hard work for her.

Looking at their synastry, we see that their matching Scorpio Suns show strong ego clashes and power struggles, but also shared depth, brilliance, and intimacy. With a Scorpio Sun/Taurus Moon opposition, these clashes most certainly involve finances and shared resources. On the positive side, we see a Jupiter trine that creates powerful levity in social circles and makes them adventurous travel buddies. But, their mutual Venus/Saturn squares can make this relationship feel like a restrictive burden.

How did we score this super Scorpio couple on the Venus scale? Listen in to find out!

  • In episode 96 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on A-List Couple, Oscar-Nominated Naomi Watts and Emmy-Winning Billy Crudup.

First, we dive into Naomi’s chart and find a mysterious, alluring, and shy Scoprio rising. Then we notice she has Neptune in the first house which gives her great strength at shape shifting for acting roles, but Chiron in Aries tells us that identity and confidence is no easy feat for her. Her Sagittarius moon tells us she’s a natural in the business of publication and being an advocate for her own truths. She will be releasing her first book, Dare I say It, in January 2025.

Next, we look at Billy’s chart and see an interesting stellium in Cancer. Yes, there is a strong sense of masculinity with Mars and the Sun conjunct, there is also noteworthy moodiness and gentleness behind the bravado thanks to this watery placement. A Venus/Pluto connection tells us there is depth and a need for intimacy, but a Mercury/Uranus aspect shows scattered and anxious energy.

Born months apart, they share many of the same outer planet placements, telling us they're learning similar lessons. With conjunct Sagittarius Moons, a very strong connection, supports mutual emotional understanding and a shared love of adventure. Their airy trine Mercuries tell us that their communication is open, honest, and clear-headed. The trouble could lie in Billy’s challenging T-square and Naomi’s unaspected Sun. We see conflicting egos and potential emotional unpredictability.

  • In episode 95 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on another listener submission for the one-time Hollywood/TV royal couple, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. The two had a love that lived both on and off screen!

First, we look into Lucille's chart and are surprised by how much of the grounded Earth element we see, espefcially for someone known for their unique and wild sense of humor! Her Capricorn rising tells us that a carefree childhood was practically non-existent. However, it did make her a powerful force when it came to her business sense. We do see zany Uranus in the first house, this is where her mischievousness and out-of-the-norm performance style comes from!

We then investigate Desi’s chart and see an intriguing Sun/Mars conjunction in Pisces. This explains his masculine leaning side, and paired with a Moon/Pluto aspect, the emotions ran high and deep with him. With a nontraditional Aquarius Venus, friendship was highly valued when it came to his romantic relationships.

Together, their charts are a mixed bag, and we see no aspects to Lucy’s validation-needing Leo Sun, but they do create an interesting Moon opposition that speaks of domestic equilibrium. Their Mars sextile is great for motivation and being business partners, but a Saturn square to Mercury reveals of one of them lording over the other. This couple might have some 'splaining to do!

  • In episode 94 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield serve up the synastry between G.O.A.T. tennis player, Serena Williams and Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian. The couple first met in Rome in 2015 and soon married in 2017.

This episode took us for a surprisingly exciting ride as we started with Serena’s mega libra stellium in the sixth house, showing her incredible work ethic and her perfected tennis skill set when it comes to one-to-one matches. Her Scorpio Venus revealed a deeply passionate approach to relationships and a Mars/Jupiter sextile signified a champion spirit.

In Alexis’ chart we saw a determined Taurus stellium, denoting personal resources and a heightened sensuality, while his Sagittarrius stellium showed a more bold and spontaneous side to his personality. Then, with a Venus/Jupiter opposition, grand gestures of love are an obvious go-to for him when it comes to relationships.

Together, they have some of the most impressive aspects you can find in synastry! It's no surprise that Serena made this statement on their relationship:

“Alexis doesn’t dim my light,” Williams told Allure about the Reddit founder in January 2019. “He doesn’t try to dim my light. He puts me in the light, even if I don’t want to be. He pushes me to further points I never thought about.”

That apparently wasn't the case in other relationships. She added, “Now I feel like I can shine really bright and still do everything that I want to do.”

First, they have an incredible Sun/Moon conjunction, in the sign of Libra, which rules relationships and love! Not sure you can get a better Sun, Moon pairing than that for a marriage! Plus, with two reciprocating Mars/Venus connections, the attraction between them is undeniable. In this episode we were hard pressed to find any troubling snags. This match is truly striking and one for the ages!

  • In episode 93 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on the synastry between 90s “It” couple, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. The two first met on the set of the film, "I Know What you Did Last Summer" and started as good friends - then things got serious when they married in 2002. Let's see what makes this 22-year long marriage so strong!

We start with Sarah’s chart and see an assertive, energetic, fighter thanks to her Aries Sun. With her Sun also making a close conjunction to the south node also in Aries, we note the need to “redo” the energy of this sign in a more responsible way. Combined with an imaginative and other-wordly Pisces Moon, it's no wonder that she rose to fame as Buffy the Vampire Slayer (A supernatural thriller). We also see a Moon/Mercury sextile telling us she takes great care and consideration with her words and relationships. Next, we take on Freddie’s chart and immediately see a sensitive and compassionate Pisces Sun...but with a T-square formed with his Gemini Moon and Sagittarius Neptune means his identity and emotions can get lost in the fog. This aspect creates confusion and makes articulating feelings difficult. We also see a few planets in the air element, telling us he has good social skills and also needs a partner to keep up with him intellectually. Together, they have the powerful Sun/Moon conjunction in the sign of intuitive, romantic, Pisces. This brings a deep and unexplainable familiarity and healing energy to the relationship. We also see mutual Sun/Mercury sextiles explaining their long-standing friendship and strong communication skills (perhaps the biggest aspect aiding them in staying together all these years). We loved seeing a strong Sun/Jupiter conjunction too, describing their strong cooperation when it comes to raising their children. On the flip side, we found an aggressive Mars/Moon square and intense Pluto/Venus opposition. With these ego clashes and power struggles, how have they lasted this long? Listen in to find out and hear what Venus score they receive!

  • In episode 92 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on the private relationship between Fifty Shades of Grey actor Dakota Johnson and Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin. The two have been together for seven years, but have not yet married...but Dakota was recently photographed wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring.

We start by looking into Dakota’s chart and find a serious, dutiful, and structure-loving Capricorn Rising. With that rising getting a supportive sextile from Pluto and with Scorpio ruling her Midheaven, and Venus also in Scorpio, we can see strong themes of resourcefulness, control, sexuality, and all things "taboo". No wonder she was an obvious choice for her role in the infamous film, Fifty Shades of Grey.

Next, we look at Chris’ chart and see a dreamy and imaginative Pisces Sun which also gets a square from Neptune. His musical talents and compassionate nature are revealed with these placements, but there can also be a need for escape and trouble with setting boundaries. We also see a contrasting fiery Leo Moon, proving he needs recognition and the spotlight to feel secure. Adding his Venus in Aries, his confidence and entrepreneurial spirit is clearly present.

Together, their synastry shows extreme magnetism and deep evolutionary lessons to learn from each other thanks to both of their Suns receiving mutual Pluto, Neptune, and Saturn aspects! Adding trine fire Moons, the emotional familiarity and playful side in this relationship thrives, but can a destructive Pluto/Mars square get too out of hand and create unbearable power struggles?

  • In episode 91 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield explore the headline grabbing, business relationship between It Ends With Us actress/producer Blake Lively and actor/director Justin Baldoni. The two allegedly had a falling out as fans noticed both appearing separately throughout the entire press tour of the film that they starred in and made together. As always, your co-hosts look to their natal charts to get a deeper understanding of their relationship dynamic!

Although we've previously explored Blake’s chart (in episode 51) we do a review of what it's like to have all five personal planets in critical and meticulous Virgo (not easy). We also analyze her current transits, including a difficult Saturn square her natal Saturn and opposing her natal Moon. This can explain the current scrutiny of her public reputation, including her identity and authority being challenged.

Next, we discuss Justin’s chart and immediately see a mysterious and intense Scorpio stellium that also happens to square his Sun in unconventional Aquarius. As someone who has taken on tasks like filming a documentary about death, to starting a podcast to help men lean into their emotions, his emotional depth, but also feelings of separateness as an outcast can clearly be seen.

In a word, the raw astrological chemistry we see between these two is shocking. With Blakes Virgo Stellium sextiling Justin's Scorpio Stellium, we see a natural, and deep understanding between them - especially thanks to their sextile Moons. There is a profound feeling of emotional and artistic comfort. However, with both of their Saturns squaring the other's ascendant, this makes for cold feelings towards each other if there are any transgressions. They might only play love interests in the film, but these charts indicate a strong bond if it were the real deal. Listen to this particularly interesting episode and find out the surprising Venus score we gave them!

  • In episode 88 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on a listener submission and dive into the family relationship dynamic between 90's country music star Billy Ray Cyrus and his pop-star daughter Miley Cyrus. The two have a seemingly contentious relationship and their intense synastry reveals why!

First, we look at Billy Ray’s chart and see a progressive, unique, and controversial Aquarius rising. Second, we see he is a Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse baby, which tells us there is a strong need to find reflective relationships in his life and to be seen. With a Virgo stellium in his seventh house that includes his Sun, this "Achy Breaky Heart" singer is also learning how to find a compromise with others and do deep relationship work.

Next, we analyze Miley’s chart for a second time (we first covered her chart in episode 22) and discuss her steady Taurus rising, giving her a slow, but methodical approach to her art and lifestyle. With a stellium between the Moon, Mercury, and Pluto in Scorpio she definitely has depth and experiences themes of control and transformation. Lastly, her seventh house Sun shows a theme of partnerships, oddly similar to her father.

When it comes to their synastry, we get hit with strong tension immediately with square Suns and square Moons. There are ego clashes, frustrations with pride, and a fundamental lack of understanding between the two. They also have their Suns squaring each other's Moons. With these combined aspects, there is little love and comfort felt between them. We do see a musical connection and softness with a Venus/Neptune combo and an interesting Mars/Venus conjunction for appreciation of the arts...but ultimately, the Venus score reflects just how unharmonious these two charts really are. Listen in to hear about this intense father daughter relationship!

  • In episode 87 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield start with a quick breakdown of the recent astrology, specifically the Mars/Uranus conjunction, that took the world by storm! Then they take on the rebellious, Taurus couple, Punk Rocker/Rapper Machine Gun Kelly and actress Megan Fox. The two first met in 2020 and have referred to each other as "twin flames".

First we assess MGK’s chart and find a trickster in his Gemini Rising that also might help him create his up-beat musical beats and rhythms. We also encounter his chart ruler, Mercury in the twelfth house, showing frustration in getting his words right and feeling understood by others. And with that mercury having an opposition from Pluto, we can see why he's involved in numerous feuds. With planets only in water and earth signs, we also see he's a deeply sensitive and private person.

Next, we analyze Megan’s chart and find a hard-working and mature Capricorn rising. But with Mars there, we also find an attraction to confrontation. Taking a peak at her Venus placement in curious Gemini, we find a strong uniqueness in her approach to femininity. With Uranus opposite Venus, she values her freedom and supports progressive womanhood as well. With Scorpio and Pluto on her Midheaven we know why she is so well-known for her sexual appeal.

Together, they have the good stuff when it comes to their synastry! With matching Taurus Suns and Mercuries they both value a slow, steady, and sensual approach to life. They also have the two strongest aspects a romantic couple can have - a sextile between the Sun and Moon and a sextile between Venus and Mars. This confirms that this is an overall harmonious union and they are well matched. And with a Mercury conjunction to boot, their communication is easily received and deeply understood by each other. However, with both of their Moons squared by outer planets, this can cause disagreements and tension on the domestic front. Listen in as we give this intense and unconventional couple a Venus score!
