Leon interviews Ming in Chinese, Mandarin
Summary Translation:
In the podcast, Ming shares her story about moving from China to Australia. She came to study, just like many young people, and her family has a history of doing the same. She points out that young people today don't see much difference between Chinese and Australian cultures. However, older people notice more differences, especially in how they think about older and younger people.
Leon's parents are from Beijing. Their grandparents came to Australia from China for work. This allowed Leon's mum and grandma to come to Australia too. Leon talks about a noodle restaurant in Chinatown that is connected to his grandpa. He used to eat his grandpa's noodles a lot when he was young. When Leon was a child, he went to China for a year to study. He liked it because it wasn't too hot. Leon also likes pandas and thinks Beijing is a great place where many people from all over China come together.
