Public Enemy No.1 series was written to help Christians, and many others in our chaotic, unstable world, answer the question, “What the hell is going on?” To date I described six characteristics of satan, our fiercest enemy, leader of all the demons who were angels expelled from Heaven when he was. This message brings all six to a head by asking Christians hard questions about your life and how you respond or if you are equipped to respond to his onslaughts.

Tempter. Deceiver. Accuser. Murderer. Liar. Those are five words that speak to the nature and character of our fiercest enemy we have examined in this series to date. This evening I am going to teach an updated message taught Sunday on P6 - THIEF. Jesus shared three great dangers this enemy can cause in the lives of Christians if we are unprepared to combat them.

Today we close this series by examining God’s faithfulness to you and me. I am going to give three points and use parts of my own testimony only to show you what you must to do replace my story with yours. YOU MUST take time to recall and write down examples of God’s great faithfulness to you throughout your life.

Why did the Israelites roam in the desert 40 years? Why wasn't Moses allowed to enter the Promised Land after all those years with millions of whining, complaining Jews? The faithfulness of God is always on display.

Last week I began this series by defining the word faithfulness and provided four synonyms that helped us understand it in the context of the attributes of God. We examined His faithfulness to mankind beginning with the sin of Adam/Eve. The second example came when God commanded Noah to build an ark. (Genesis 6:14)This week my focus was God’s faithfulness to His chosen people, beginning with key events in the life of Abrahm provide the example in this message, including the hardest thing God ever asked a man to do besides Jesus.

Despite sin entering the world thru the disobedience of Adam and Eve, set up and deceived by satan our fierce enemy even still, God remained faithful to His promise. Good News for us is this: He remains faithful to those born-again in Christ. This message begins a new series to help bring biblical understanding of His faithfulness to those who have "ears to hear."

Last week I discusssed what it is like to go into real prisons to minister. But the main point of the message was to help you understand what I mean when I say "prisons without bars". This week we learn how we can be set free forever from our prisons that too often control our lives and harm ourselves.
-
I have been preaching and teaching inside prisons for many years. I know when I finish my time with the inmates, I can leave and they cannot. The difference is freedom to come and go as one pleases vs forfeited freedom based on bad decisions. While that ministry is challenging, perhaps an equally challenging one is helping people who have incarcerated themselves behind PRISONS WITHOUT BARS. This is P1 of my message.

Perhaps the most famous question of all time is when Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, "What is truth?" People today who deny the existence of God and biblical truth still grope around trying to find it. This message gives clear biblical answers.
