In May 2024, WAMA and Edith Cowan University released a groundbreaking report that provides rich insight into the state of diversity and inclusion in the Western Australian (WA) marketing and commercially creative industries. While there is DEI data for the global and national advertising industries, this inaugural survey is the first of its kind in WA.
So we invited some of the project team for the report to dig a little deeper: Tess Palmyre from Brandable, Kevin Wilson from Nani Creative and Rene LeMerle from Bonfire!
Hosts: Leigh Wood and Dan Agostino
Studio: Digital Loop

Berney is back in the studio, this time as an interviewer to his best mate Dav Tabeshfar! Dav is a successful Creative Director who has worked at big agencies, with big and small clients, won heaps of awards, and is now since 6 years back running his own advertising agency 'And Partners' that's currently going through an exciting merger.
They spoke about Dav's background, Vote Yes, the merger, 303 days, and a super slow but super good ad campaign they worked on back then.
The sudden ending to the episode was due to Calle's computer issues, but we got a good 30 minutes to soak in here of the wonderful Dav. Give it a listen now! -
