How does our trauma affect how we date today? How does our parent’s relationships affect how we see love today? Are we repeating the same toxic patterns without awareness that cause pain to us and our partners or are we ready to heal and go to therapy to change the dating standards? Today, we’re joined by Tiffany Kodhek to talk about our experiences with dating and the truth to why we are still single, what we’re looking for in partners and the steps we need to take to find the people for us and for us to be better partners.

I’d say anyone who has left home for a prolonged period of time has come back and realised that they don’t quite fit in. They’ve realised that the way they now function and think is not how people at home think and it’s quite a shock to the system. Yes ! We’re speaking about REVERSE CULTURE shock. Today, we’re joined by Msutfu, who just came back to Eswatini a few months ago from Taiwan and we have a deep conversation about coming back home and that discomfort of feeling like you don’t know anything and know too much and don’t know exactly how to act, how to feel, who to talk to and if you should even talk. If you’ve gone back home and you know what I’m talking about, then you will love this episode! Tune in!

Today I have on Darch and we speak about mental health and needing to take a break from doing work, as well as what helps to make him feel better, including the people in his life who are helping him. We speak about relationships too and how much emphasis we put on them, as well as how easily we get consumed by them which makes it easy for us to get lost in them. What inspired Darch to make music? We dive into a little bit of that and his journey with Zerohwait and how they've grown together as artists. It takes a bit of confidence to show people your music honestly, so i just had to ask him how he gained his and how he dropped his first song as well as the determination thats taken him from the point he started at until now. We speak about tradition, tourism and modernism and how so much is changing in Dublin city centre, which makes it seem less Irish and more foreign as well as how that may affect tourism. Adjusting to a new city is not easy, especially one outside your country. From food to friendships, music and art, fashion and cultural differences, it can be hard to adjust. Having to understand yourself from a different lens to what you’re used to can really throw you off. Darlene, having spent majority of her young adult years abroad has had to learn to appreciate herself in a country where there aren’t a lot of foreigners which is expressed in her African centred art, fashion and hairstyles and has allowed her to be more introspective into why certain behaviours are prevalent in Portugal. We touch on the hyper-sexualisation of the black woman, the education system and missed information, how her last relationship has affected her view on sexuality as well as how she’s seen people perceive her confidence in her body online. Stay tuned and enjoy Ramblers!
