On Clash of the Correspondents ahead of the Blank James is joined by Bournemouth fan Neil Grover and Brentford fan Tom Medd to discuss the latest at their clubs and some very important Fantasy assets ahead of a fixture where goals are expected again!
For both free hitters and those looking to invest you can make a case for more than half the Bournemouth team to be of interest, from Kepa in goal to Dean Huijsen at the back, Milos Kerkez at left-back, a returning Evanilson, Marcus Tavernioer, Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert may even become the captaincy pick of choice for many as we head towards deadline.
But where does that leave Dango Ouattara owners?
And are consistent Brentford being overlooked with their own attacking players of interest in Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, plus enablers such as the underrated Mikkel Damsgaard and the pacey Kevin Schade?
After all, The Bees who were so strong at home are now putting strong results on the board on the road, even if it may have much to do with the flip in their fixtures.
And Bournemouth can dare to dream big about qualifying for Europe and whta might might achievable in the FA Cup.

Suj and James review the weekend of Gameweek 28 where there was more heartbreak for those who gambled on Cole Palmer again as the Chelsea talisman missed his first penalty of his professional career, whilst Mo Salah converted two penalties of his own to break the FPL points scoring record despite still having nine games to play!
But FPL managers won't be captaining Salah this week with Liverpool among four teams who blank this week and much of the focus of the Podcast is towards decision making for the Blank coming up, and for some that may mean even selling Salah to fund a move for Erling Haaland.
But is Haaland even the best captain this week!? City were being beaten again, this time at Nottingham Forest and Chris Wood may even be the EO play this week as Nuno's Champions League chasing team travel to Ipswich.
All the games reviewed, including discussion on Arsenal's draw at Manchester United which surely means the title is heading to Anfield; Bournemouth's outstanding showing at White Hart Lane only earned them a point; while Aston Villa and Brighton also kept themselves in contention for a top 5 finish; and Wolves without Matheus Cunha also edged a point closer to safety

On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Wolves fan Bradley Parker and Everton fan Sean Norton to discuss the latest at their clubs and FPL interest in some of their assets ahead of the Saturday night meeting at Molineux.
Matheus Cunha was going to be all the rage for FPL managers but now those who may have been ahead of the curve must sell with the Brazilian talisman set for a lengthy suspension. Could the returning Jorgen Strand Larsen offer a solution for FPL managers?
Or might the best replacement be with opponents Everton with forward Beto and The Toffees finding form under David Moyes, They are well clear of danger now, but that Cunha suspension may have Wolves fans looking nervously over their shoulders again.
Plus, views on defensive assets from both clubs and is there anything from the midfield bracket that FPL managers can consider?

Following the FA Cup 5th round weekend it's all change again on the outlook for future blanks and doubles in FPL. Clayton joins James for a discussion on how to play Chips during Chip season with a stark warning from James: "You're all f*****"
With many of the favourites out of the FA Cup the competition looks wide open and that creates complications for what can happen. There's discussion on the projected blanks and doubles now but with references for why certain things can and can not happen, with concern that we could still be in for some unexpected scheduling.
There's discussion on all the chips and when best might be to use them, with awareness of the potential hinderances of some of the more powerful chips as such as the Bench Boost and Assistant Manager. Alternatives are given including a radical potential path for those who may have all their chips left.
But not all is lost for those who are short with James of the belief that he can navigate the doubles of 33 and blanks of 34 without a chip... and that's because the predicted doubles may not be as kind as they appear on paper.

It's a Championship Clash of the Correspondents as James catches up with Burnley fan Jack Toner and Luton Town fan Dan Ashby to discuss veryt differing fortunes for two clubs who were in the Premier League last season.
Burnley are third with promotion in sight and have a barely believable defensive record having only conceded 9 goals in 34 league games. But do the underlying numbers suggest this is unsustainable? Are Burnley fans in support of what Scott Parker is trying to do?
Meanwhile Luton are 3rd from bottom and would have been 24th if not for Saturday's win against Portsmouth. It was a first win in 9 for new manager Matt Bloomfield who replaced Rob Edwards in January. Why has it gone so wrong for The Hatters?
There's an overview of both the relegation and promotion race and discussion on the increasing difficult task of getting into the Premier League and staying there.#

James is joined by Clayton on the Gameweek Review Podcast to discuss the events of the midweek of Gameweek 27 where somehow, those who gambled on Cole Palmer with the captaincy were not rewarded... but it didn't matter that much anyway.
So Palmer again in 28 with an insipid Leicester next? Maybe not with Mo Salah facing Southampton, or could The Reds rotate with the fixture falling in between their Champions League games with PSG?
All the games covered including Arsenal drawing blanks again at Forest and Man City seeing off Tottenham in a game of two halves at White Hart Lane where Erling Haaland registered the only goal.
Is there a case to take Salah on with the big Norweigian from Gameweek 29 onwards? Perhaps so, and there is plenty of discussion around the Blank of Gameweek 29 and how to manage players subject to chosen strategy, with key assets from the likes of City, Bournemouth, Palace and Wolves all covered in detail.

Ahead of today's GW27 Deadline James is joined on Clash of the Correspondents by Manchester United fan Gary Robinson and Ipswich Town fan Paul Gaught-Allen to discuss current matters at their clubs ahead of Wednesday's meeting at Old Trafford.
Can Ipswich yet pull off an escape from the relegation zone? They find themselves five points adrift of Wolves and with no one else within sight.
Ipswich's plight means Manchester United can feel safe. Yes, really it has looked that bad at times recently. Ruben Amorim still hasn't won more points than Erik Ten Hag in this campaign and there are several cost cutting measures taking place behind the scenes and PSR is likely to restrict them in the transfer market in the summer.
So where do United go from here? Investing in someone like Ipswich's Liam Delap doesn't even seem like a realistic prospect currently.
And should there be interest in these two clubs for Fantasy managers? Ipswich have Delap and some enablers that could prove useful, Whilst United head into this encounter and also face fellow strugglers Leicester in the Blank of Gameweek 29. But can they be trusted?

Suj and James review all the football from Gameweek 26 with Liverpool now huge favourites for the title, as victory at Manchester City followed Arsenal's defeat to West Ham, and Wolves too a huge step to safety with victory at ten man Bournemouth. Whilst there was FPL controversy before the football even began with FPL missing their own deadline, meaning they've now missed more deadlines this season than Suj!
There was more success for many who chased bonus with the Assistant Manager Chip, there's discussion on what next for those who still have the Chip active and this midweek's captaincy dilemma of Cole Palmer, who has hapless Southampton, or Mo Salah, who now has more points in away games than any other player has in all games, following yet another double digit return.
There's coverage of transfer plans with decisions made and differentials targeted, plus analysis of all the games as usual, including Brentford cruising to victory at Leicester, healing Tottenham winning again and the 7 goal thriller between Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.

On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Fulham fan Lewis James and Crystal Palace fan Ruaidhri McLoughlin-Dowd to discuss the latest at their clubs and some very important FPL assets ahead of Saturday's meeting at Craven Cottage.
And by assets that doesn't just mean the players as Eagles boss Oliver Glasner is likely to be popular for Assistant Manager bonus point hunters and for those yet to deploy the Chip again he'll no doubt attract interest around GW32 when Palace double.
But he's not been the best performing manager over the last couple of weeks as that honour goes to Saturday's opponent Marco Silva, as Fulham produced outstanding victories against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest that truly has them in contention for European qualification.
Plus, those key FPL assets covered including Antonee Robinson, Kenny Tete's longer-term threat to Timothy Castagne; forwards Raul Jimenez and Jean-Phillipe Mateta, Dean Henderson, Ebe Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Daniel Munoz might not be the only Palace wing-back of interest in the weeks to come.

On today's Ask James' stream those on the Assistant Manager Chip are looking to move from Arne Slot or Unai Emery, but should they bother?
There's interest in Matheus Cunha and Bournemouth midfielders as expected and there's lot more chat on strategy including understanding 'when we will know' key dates for what's ahead and how those withthe majority of chips left may want to play what remains.
And that includes considering an unusual strategy for when to Wuildcard, and it's one under genuine consideration for James, who is very short on chips.

Suj and James revisit a Podcast from 4 weeks ago deliberating which week would be best to Free Hit from the potential Blank Gameweeks of 29 and 34.
There's discussion on considering the template, including the importance of Erling Haaland, and the fixtures before after GW29 when making a decision on whether to activate the Free Hit or run through the Gameweek, and that decision will need to be made without the picture for the Doubles of 33 and the Blanks of 34.
There's a look at potential Free Hit Drafts for 29, 33 and 34 and James reiterates the script for the current projections and has warnings about how the weeks around the FA Cup Semi Finals may not be exactly what we think and how that can have big implications for Wildcarders looking to Bench Boost. And the consequence of the Newcastle v Crystal Palace arrangement for GW32 might not be as obvious for GW33 as it appears now.

On the Gameweek 25 Review Podcast Suj and James discuss all the key FPL relevant info from the weekend which featured disappointment for many owning Aston Villa assets as they were held by ten man Ipswich, Manchester City's demolition of Newcastle featured a hat-trick from Omar Marmoush and Arsenal found someone who could play up front in an unlikely source as sub Mikel Merino.
There's also reaction to Tottenham's victory against Manchester United in the battle of the underachievers, there was another limp display from Chelsea at Brighton which included a stunning goal for the hosts by Kaoru Mitoma, and Wolves made Liverpool sweat at Anfield.
Plus, there's discussion on solutions next for those on the Assistant Manager Chip and some of the consequences from the announcement of Newcastle and Crystal Palace being arranged for Gameweek 32, James contemplates switching Salah to Haaland in GW29, but will the Egyptian King still get the armband when the two clubs meet in GW26?

On this morning's Ask James live stream James has a Nicolas Jackson problem to deal with and there are a number of forwards under consideration, which includes Ollie Watkins, if passed fit, as the Villains have a Double Gameweek, as do Liverpool, and they have Cody Gakpo who is a confirmed doubt, and James owns him too!
Plus, there's coverage of using the Assistant Manager now versus later, the group for whom Free Hit GW29 will be right, favoured choice from the trio of Bournemouth midfield options and lots more.

On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Leicester City fan Sam Martin and Arsenal fan Adam Pritchard to discuss the altest at their clubs - and they include some major concerns - ahead of Saturday's meeting at The King Power Stadium.
It looks like it's down to a 4 team race to survive at the bottom of the table and hopes Leicester may have had of a resurgence after victory at Tottenham were dampen by a chastening 4-0 defeat at Everton. Do they have what it takes to survive?
And can Arsenal chase down Liverpool's lead at the top? The task looks tougher now with Kai Havertz confirmed likely to miss the rest of the season and Arsenal's attack now looks stretched to the limit for availability.
Plus there's FPL discussion with Arsenal's Ethna Nwaneri likely to catch attention at a bottom price of 4.5, could the Gunners defence suffer as a consequence of their injury problems and there is one Leicester asset likely to catch the attention of some Fantasy managers for Gameweek 26.
