Predicting the future is impossible. We know it, and we knew it as well when Itamar put together his predictions for 2024 in AI & Security. But, with the right dose of cynicism, it's a fun exercise to do. And, we're keeping ourselves honest >> these were the hits and misses of what we thought the space would look like in 2024...
Don't miss out our predictions for 2025. We might have emboldened ourselves a bit after getting a decent ratio of hits vs. misses...

AI for Security, just like in any other field, is here to stay. But what is the balance between leveraging AI and securing it?
Since the public release of ChatGPT in November of 2022, companies have been racing to integrate GPT-like capabilities in their products and services. From simple workflows to complex and innovative features and tools, GenAI is everywhere, and rapidly growing in use cases and capabilities.
In security specifically, copilots and the like have become almost a commodity when it comes to alert remediation and in-product help with a variety of workflows.
On the other side of the equation, we have the need to balance all of this disruptive technology with the cybersecurity aspects of GenAI tools and the new risks that come with it.
How should CISOs navigate this transformation? Who’s responsible for managing the risks of GenAI innovation? Will the benefits brought to security teams at expediting mundane work be overshadowed by the risks of the new technology?
In this episode, Itamar hosts Dan Klein, Cybersecurity Research lead for Accenture Labs Israel for a candid conversation on using AI in security and securing AI.
