Let's see where this all began! The Queens join Morraine, Siuan, and Lan nearly twenty years before The Eye of the World takes place. Morraine and Siuan are baby Accepted students in the tower, and Lan is fighting the good fight everywhere he can. We follow as our two favourite Sedais learn about the Dragon's birth, gain the shawl, prank anyone and everyone, buy several dresses on unrealistic timelines, and learn to fall out of love (unfortunately). The Queens are distraught to learn Lan's backstory is even more upsetting than they originally thought. Queens Marissa and Tay wonder whether they've missed a clue or six, while Alix practices her Aes Sedai composure as endeavors to remain spoiler-free. In other words, join our Queens as they read the entirety of New Spring, Book 0.5 of The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan.
Queens Tay and Marissa wrap up this trip down memory lane with a full review of the prequel. All the Queens finish it off by playing a game of Yearbook Superlatives.

Ten books down, only four (well, five) more to go! The Queens join the characters as they make good, bad, and terrible decisions. Queen Marissa argues that Egwene makes a terrible choice, while both Queens Alix and Tay worry over their favourite Amyrlin Seat. Every wonders why Perrin left a perfectly viable axe to rust in the forest, and the Queens continue their disdain for Tuon -- even when she's almost a decent character. Expect axe swinging, weevil winnowing, cuendillar weaving, and a good amount of skirt smoothing as the Queens debate when to drop big questions in a courtship. Marissa is still very upset about the weather, Tay wonders whether she's reading a ghost story, and Al bites her tongue to prevent herself from revealing all the spoilers. Welcome to the tenth book of the Wheel of Time series! We check in with all our characters to see what they were up to during the final events of book nine. Characters get dressed, shoot down viable rescue stratagies and attempt to calculate the consequences of their actions. Gather round, young adventurers, for we have a story recap for you! We are officially (but not literally) halfway through the series – if we don't count the prequel. To celebrate, we're reviewing everything we've read so far in The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. From the first moments we stepped into Eamon's Field to the last moments we saw of the crews' journeys through Randland, we've witnessed the fall and rise of Rand, the hair-tugging, braid-pulling, stubborn-babe ways of Nynaeve, and the ascent of Perrin from King of the Wolves to Lord of Eamon's Field. Mat's gone from our silly little dagger stealer to a dice-throwing general. Egwene's received the job promotion of a lifetime with a resume of a toddler. And, Min, Elayne, and Aviendha continue to dance closer to their future marriage to the man doomed to go mad.
In this episode, join the Queens as they unpack this journey, recapping each character's progress. Queens Tay and Marissa exile Alix Sedai to discuss all the theories they've had – and a few new ones. Then, all three Queens join forces to answer some amazing questions from our listeners about our thoughts, predictions, and reading adventure. Finally, like all good Queens of Fantasy pods, we end it with a game. This time, our game has the Queens describing each book very, very poorly.

Book seven is finally closed! But, before The Queens can put this baby on their shelves, we've gotta discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly – and there's plenty of each to talk about. From crossing balefire streams to super special Myrdraal who can smell better than any other, this section really said anything is possible. Queen Marissa reads perfectly normal passages that do not have cuddles-and-kisses undertones, Queen Tay suggests a dangerous game for the final podcast, and Queen Alix relishes in her read-ahead privileges while trying not to spoil anything at all. Welcome back to Book 7. As Elayne falls in the Queens' eyes, we follow the crew as they braid each other's hair in the dark and negotiate around the most uncharacteristic moments. We learn of Olver's skill for jocky-ing and Mat's skill of getting mad at anyone who dares to take it away from him. As Mat is tossed about the castle, the Queens pick up on unsettling vibes that they hope they're wrong about. From theorizing about everything and every character to wondering whether or not certain much-missed characters are truly gone, expect to find your favourite Queens analyzing every sentence in this book. That is to say, join us as we read Chapter 11 to the end of Chapter 24 of Book Seven of The Wheel of Time, A Crown of Swords by Robert Jordan.

Let the Lord of Chaos reign – finally! The Queens wrap up the sixth book in Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series, Lord of Chaos. Along this adventure, we get a little serious discussing some more sensitive topics that are coming up. Please see the trigger warnings below.
We start with Perrin and Faile marching into Camelyn to meet Faile's parents, who are so totally normal. From there, we join Min and Rand as they explore the benefits of perfectly normal and platonic friendship. Queen Tay learns about Alix Sedai's biggest phobia, Queen Marissa wonders how Rand has managed to climb up her character ranking list. Queens Marissa and Tay discuss a few new theories. Expect us to discuss Perrin's horrific sniffing smell powers, the terrible name that is the Mirror of Mists, and Myrelle's newest warder. On top of that, Queen Alix attempts to not spoil the whole series every time she speaks.
