Lekhraj Kishan Chand Mirchandani who was more popular and better known with his pen name Aziz. as 'Lekhraj Aziz'. He was born in Hyderabad Sindh in 1897, he passed BA and worked as a lecturer of Sindhi. In India Lekhraj settled at Mumbai. Lekhraj was a poet and was also famous for his heart touching selection of words for poems but besides contributing to Sindhi literature by poetry Lekhraj has written some prose, also two of Sindhi dramas written by Lekhraj. There are 16 published books written by Lekhraj Aziz but his contribution to Sindhi literature is much more than that.

Mohan Gehani is a noted Sindhi scholar, playwright, translator and poet. Born in Karachi (Sind) on January 20, 1938, he belongs to a select community of writers who have lived through the Partition of India. Gehani, whose first short story appeared in 1955 in Naeen Duniyan, a progressive literary magazine, is the author of numerous books. He has also played an active role in the successful campaign to introduce Sindhi in the eighth schedule of the Indian Constitution. Gehani is the recipient of several awards, including the Sahitya Akademi award in 2011 and the Saeen G M Sayed Memorial Award by World Sindhi Council at London. He has also received awards for his contribution to Sindhi literature from the Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language and Akhil Bharat Sindhi Boli ain Sahit Sabha. He was a member of the Sindhi advisory board for Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, from 2007-12.

Narayan Shyam (22 July 1922 -10 Jan 1989)
Sindhi Book - Wari-a-Bharyo Paland Pioneer of Sindhi Gazal Narayan Shyam was known for experimenting with thoughts. He has enriched the Sindhi Literature and Sindhi Poem world not only by the use of new words but also by using new symbolic ways and redefinition of the Sindhi poem, he has changed the tempo of Sindhi poems from the traditional lover's expression or Romance showing words and philosophical expressions to thoughts and feelings of common Sindhi people. Narayan Shyam has written with equal authority and perfection; it may be the Sindhi poem, Sindhi Song, A Gazal or Haiku, even Rubye, Doha, and Saratha.
