There is nothing I love more than when people authentically embody love, art and culture all in one. Our guest today does just that, with even more to offer. Salma Sky is a Zambian born and raised singer/songwriter who, after over 10 years in the entertainment industry, is just beginning to uncover the true identity of who she is - not only as an artist but also as a soul. She speaks candidly about being a mother of 4, growing up mixed race in Zambia, moving from studying Law (etc!) to become a singer and her real thoughts on the Zambian entertainment industry. She also speaks about her new album lead song "Free" which will debut on the 28th of October, and how this piece captures the personal evolution that she has finally just begun.

This episode is based on the thoughts of Mark Manson, author of The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A Fuck, where he remarked that:
"Some of the most important truths in life are contradictory on the surface. They seem like impossibilities, yet experiences proves them to be obvious over and over again. It isn't until you look a bit deeper, beneath the surface contradictions, that the real grains of wisdom emerge."
With this, I uncovered all 10 paradoxes and related them to my view of the human being. Feel free to reach out on the IG page @afroverseshow if you'd like to share any of your thoughts and join the Afro-being community today!

About Dogecoin... Was the hype real? In the first of its series, this episode explores some of my weekly life reflections. I share my experience in investing in cryptocurrency for the first time, particularly with Dogecoin going viral. I also explored how I feel about investing from the African/African Diasporan perspective and how it's shaped how I think about cryptocurrency. This episode was much shorter than the rest but still had me deep in my thoughts😅 The video for this episode can be found on Afroverse's IGTV @afroverseshow.

This week's episode features my blind reactions to some of the voice/word messages that the audience sent it about relationships. Some opinions were quite strong with someone even talking about the *need* for relationships in the first place! As the end of the first season also comes around, I also reflect on the journey so far and hope that you join this community we are building. Thank you for a beautiful first season and here is to many, many more!

A small game of "stuck on an island" was played and I might have laughed a bit too hard at some of his answers... It's all love though! All that and more lessons as a continuation from part 1 & 2 of our previous chats (Ep 8 & 9)
