Teens are building their self-identity and much of teen brain power is answering the question ‘who am I?” They might re-consider their condition and what it means to them. They might re-experience the first impact of their diagnosis on a more complex and painful level, resulting in un-resolved feelings.
We will discuss ways to intervene based on the science and from clinical experience.
