In this conversation, Adèle shares some of her greatest learnings on epistemology – a long journey enabled by the great works of others – some of whose work is highlighted in the resource list below.

In this episode we speak with Jon DeWaal, founder of Liminal Space.
AI. War. Climate catastrophe. Authoritarianism. Are these signs that our social systems are dying? Will new social systems be born? How do we navigate these times? How do we deal with the dissonance of disruption? What does it mean to be “in between?” These questions have never been more important as we face a seemingly unprecedented onslaught of existential risks to human civilization.
From the personal to the professional, Jon helps us understand disruptive change in new ways and shares some much needed wisdom to navigate these times.

Day to day, we hear a lot about the planetary crisis we're facing. Yet we often fail to begin imaging the solution to climate change may be in our own bodies, our cells. Levels of cellular inflammation in our body are at an all-time high, fueling sky-rocketing rates of physical and mental disease globally.
This is what we're discussing today with Harvard trained physician Parneet Pal.
In this very interesting conversation, Parneet brilliantly outlines how cellular inflammation and mitochondrial dysfunction influence our decision making, making us impulsive, stuck in old patterns of thinking and doing, and resorting to short-termism. These decisions - as individuals, consumers, business leaders - shape the systems we build around us, especially those that perpetuate our climate crisis.
In this way, Parneet argues that if we solve our wellbeing, we can solve our workplace and ecological challenges. We can use our biology to work for us, not against us, as a powerful lever to intervene and shift our system towards wellbeing for all as we cultivate a regenerative planet.

"For sale: baby shoes, never worn."
This is a story often attributed to Ernest Hemingway, although the link to him is unlikely. It is a story so short, yet so dense – hope, anticipation, planning, then loss, disappointment, grief. These are universally human experiences. And maybe thats what makes a good story – its universal resonance. As Niel Gaiman said, "stories are good lies that say true things."
But what is the difference between a story and a myth? Are these just synonyms for the same thing? Why does the difference matter? Is one more suited to universal truth than the other? Why should we care? What are the myths that animate our beliefs and our behaviors? Has the canon been sealed? Are our myths inherited, or can we make our own?
In this episode we speak with Alonso Toledo about mythology, the role of mythology in our lives and work, and the myths that animate us as humans.
