It’s all over the news today and you’ve probably heard about the cargo ship that collided with a bridge in Baltimore leading to its collapse and the loss of 6 lives. But what really happened? What went wrong? What were the sequence of events leading to the collision? While I don’t have all the answers, I have a theory about what happened based on the video doing the rounds on the internet. I may be wrong but I did spend a significant amount of time on cargo ships so I do know a thing or two...this is at best an educated guess.

The question arises that if happiness is just a chemical cocktail and our need for socialising is just an old hangover from our hunter-gatherer days and we don’t need to do that anymore, what do we do with our lives? Short answer : Anything you want.
In this episode, I talk about some of the things I do to be productive and invest in myself. I bring up real life anecdotes and examples in addition to some lessons learnt from the books I’ve read recently. I strongly urge you to give this one a listen.

In this episode we focus more on ourselves. What are we and if we were to explain ourselves to someone, how would we do it? I talk about my understanding of why we feel the need to be around other people and how the absence of that leads to the feeling of loneliness. I’m no expert, but this is knowledge I have accumulated from books, podcasts and youtube videos of experts in the field.

Continuing with the series, in this episode, I talk about why we chase happiness and the company of others. I talk about how chasing happiness can become an addiction and the benefits of sitting with your thoughts and analysing why you do certain things and why you think a certain way.
Again, I don’t claim to be an expert but these are the things I’ve learnt and these work for me.

In this episode, I talk about some of the lessons I’ve learnt in life that help me deal with loneliness and solitude. While I don’t claim to be an expert in this topic, this is something that has worked for me and I use it every day to navigate life. Studies have shown that the number of people who feel lonely is rising at a very high rate and we’ve been termed as the “Loneliest Generation”. These are just my thoughts on how I deal with this problem.

I’m a little late to the party but i finally binged all episodes of the Beckham documentary on Netflix. In this episode, I talk about my perspective as a football fan and my memories from that era. Surrounding all the noise, flashing lights and camera’s, was an under-appreciated football player who got way more criticism than he deserved. To hear more, tune in..

It is said that the average human household has about 250,000 items. We all find ourselves surrounded by stuff everywhere and somehow still look for more stuff to purchase. What is this need to have stuff around? And why is it so hard to let go? I attempt to answer these questions with anecdotes from my life and the lessons i am learning these days now that I have to sell or give away most of my stuff. What is our relationship with "stuff"? Why do we always want more? And at what cost to the planet? Join me in this quest to answer these questions.

The two bros's are reunited for this landmark 100th episode! What a joy it was to not do all the talking for a change :P
In this episode we talk about the gap year I spent traveling across India indulging in various activities and some deeper insights. Big brother questions me regarding some of the moments that stood with me and what it would take for someone to embark on something similar. While some of the things are mentioned in the previous episodes, there is a fresh new perspective from a fresh set of eyes in this one.
We would like to thank you, dear listeners, for your continued support over the years and for being with us on this 100 episode journey. There will be a lot more to come, many more experiences and many more discoveries to be made.

One of my recent endeavours was to apply to a university abroad in pursuit of my Master's degree in a course I was really interested in. It wasn't as straight forward as i would've liked and there are a ton of misleading blogs and youtube videos about the subject matter. While this episode may not cover everything, it surely covers my journey and the process it took to do so.

I see a lot of social media posts with some stunning drone shots but when I ask them if they have the right certification, they're clueless. That's what prompted me to make this episode. I recently completed the remote drone operators course from Drone Academy, Hyderabad and there's a lot to know before you fly a drone in India. I cover all these things, including a run up of existing drone laws and some good practices as drone operators. Tune in for this one stop for all your drone flying and certification queries.

In this episode i cover all the big events of the year, and mind you, it has been quite eventful. Starting from the bike trip across India to finally seeing Manchester United play at Old Trafford. Learning how to be a scuba diver to becoming a licensed drone operator. What a year it's been and its only May!!
Join me on this recap of this wonderful year. What's in store for the rest of the year? Time will tell....

It’s official! I am a certified open water diver! After what was an insane week in the Andaman Islands, I’m here to give my insights about what it was like to go through the basic open water diver course. Everything from equipment, to fitness levels to how I felt after each dive. Much love and appreciation to the team at Gypsy Divers in Havelock Island for making this a memorable experience.
