009 | Wellbeing in Loneliness?
As a human being we all have a vast scope of emotions, a rainbow of possibilities. However, some of these are pretty intense at times, and the last thing we want to do is get stuck in them. And if you’re like most folks, this happens when you least expect it, and probably NOT when you’d like it to. Loneliness is like that. It’s easy to get triggered by holiday expectations of being with others if those others don’t happen to be around.
Even if you’re someone who never or very rarely experiences loneliness, you can apply the strategies that we’re going to talk about today to almost any emotional feeling, emotional energy. Because often as human beings, we are faced with feelings that we just as soon not have, are we not?

Most people live in a world where they are constantly on the go. We are driven by society's expectations to work hard, earn more, and just be more. This can go on for years, or even decades, to keep going and going until one day you just can't keep up the pace and reach the breaking point. By then, you might realize it’s all too late and you’re very exhausted mentally and physically. We sure don’t want that now, do we?
So in today's episode, we will be talking about the possible reasons why you are uncomfortable with keeping still, refusing to take that well-deserved vacation, or even denying minutes of serenity by looking out the window. It’s helpful to ask ourselves why we feel the need to keep moving all the time. Are we trying to avoid something? Are we afraid of what might happen if we stop and take a look at our lives? Sometimes, we might not even be aware that we have been carelessly refraining ourselves from living in the present.
It can be difficult at first, that's why I will be sharing some tips on how you can start learning to appreciate the beauty of stillness and be okay with taking a break. If you want to become more aware of yourself, tune in before you hit an unexpected burn out!

Have you ever noticed how prominent the black and white swirl symbol is in movies whenever the main character tries to harness their powerful "energy"? You might even know them as Yin and Yang. The two primary forces in the universe that answer to vital energy... but what does this mean? One of my students asked me about this and after learning about this for many years, I thought it was a great question that I could share with you today in this episode!
The concept of Yin and Yang is used to describe how every opposites in nature are interconnected to create balance from the universe to our bodies. It is the wholeness of constantly being in a state of motion from the flowing energy of nature to the inner peace within ourselves. As complex as it may sound, we can learn it little by little and a little becomes a lot. This means that even simple actions like working hard and having enough time to rest can also bring us closer to the goal of well-being.
So how do we go about finding this balance in our own lives? Well, there isn't one answer because everyone is different. It takes time and patience to learn to listen to our inner guidance system. But by becoming more aware of the yin and yang principle, we can start to get a better understanding of how to create equilibrium in our lives.

Balance is critical in our daily lives. It can be tricky even after years of practice. So in this episode, I will be sharing questions to help you determine why you're overdoing it, what you can do to prevent getting burnt out, and encourage you to empower yourself to make a tiny change that can make a world of difference to you and your wellbeing!
We now live in an era where we are constantly DOING and feel the need to be busy, productive, and go-go-go.. Sometimes by choice or many times, by apparent necessity. Many of us have adopted a lifestyle where "rest" only means being able to sleep. We don't even notice how this constant pushing can be detrimental to our physical and mental health.
I know I have because I did it too. Not only did I “work” at work, but long hours afterward and into the weekends. And, I was exhausted. I broke down from overworking, and I was also dedicated to taking care of my family. The time I had left for myself was just to collapse on the bed. In reality, 9 out of 10 of my coworkers admitted they did the same.
If you know this feeling, take this time and pause. Think about what your schedule looks like and what you are doing to take care of yourself.

Meta Thinking is the act of being aware of your thoughts, recognizing them, and then deciding what to do with them. The core of this tool is self-awareness. A lot of times, we're not even aware of the thoughts we're thinking. They've become so habitual that we don't even need to hear them because we simply feel them. The goal is to take that power back to choose whether to continue limiting ourselves from self-love or to be able to create new thoughts that empower us and make us feel good.

What does “wellbeing" mean to you? "Well" Being.
These days, it seems like we're all moving at a million miles an hour. We're constantly bombarded with stimuli from every direction and it can be difficult to find the time to just sit and reflect on what nurtures our own wellbeing. For some, it means having a healthy body and mind, while others might perceive it as being in a state of peace and contentment. Personally, I believe that wellbeing is a state of inner peace that comes from doing what's best for our own body, mind, heart, and spirit.
As a healer, I often see people who are struggling to find wellbeing in their lives. They come to me seeking relief from physical pain and emotional or mental exhaustion. And while I can give them tools and techniques to help ease their suffering, I ultimately know that the only way to find true and lasting wellbeing is when they make a commitment to find and cultivate it within themselves. It's truly a journey that we all have to participate in.
In this episode, I'll go through some of the things that I've found to be helpful in my own journey toward self-alignment and wellbeing in hope that it will spark ideas for you to create your own path to inner peace, mental clarity, and physical wellbeing.
