  • Hey sis. Well, here it is. The final episode of Season TWO for the podcast. It has been such a blessing to be in your ear buds this year, and it means the world to me, when you let me know what is landing, what you are loving, and where you are feeling challenged so that we can riff about it. The podcast will be back in 2025 - and WITH interviews. Gosh... I've been teasing it forever. But for real, it's happening. There are so many incredible women that I can't wait for you to meet... but for now. MERRY CHRISTMAS and it means the world to me that you pop in each week for a little pep-talk. My highest intention with this podcast is to hold you accountable to your dreams, to becoming the best version of you, to prioritize your happiness and well-being AND do your best to create harmony as a wife, mama and ambitious woman.   • It is WILD to think that it’s been four short months of committing to getting stronger, more fit, growing my capacity and really just trusting my intuition of knowing this was the next important area of my well-being to (finally) prioritize.

    It's been a fun journey so far + this weeks pep-talk I HOPE, will save you time within your own wellness journey to do the thing, to make the change, to finally GO FOR IT!

    So today is a bit of a pause for me. To reflect and acknowledge some of the wins along the way as I gear up for a photoshoot this week to celebrate and mark the milestone.     I spent the weekend running my kids around to hockey tryouts, baseball tryouts, soccer tryouts, more hockey …. you get the gist. And there have been a lot of firsts in our home.

    It got me thinking. As I’m sitting there chatting with my kids about stepping forward even when you aren’t sure of the outcome, why it’s important to take a risk and relating this back to life for them …. as they (mostly) roll their eyes at me…. You guys… are WE stepping out in fear and doing it anyways? Are you in a season of fear? Fear of failure? Fear of not knowing where to begin? Fear of….. I mean, insert your fear.

    Normalizing the human experience is one of my favourite things. What if I told you the most successful people in the world feel those same things …. They do! AND they do it anyways.   • Ahhhhh I can’t believe it. We are BACK at school, back at the rink and volleyball courts and it feels good ….and I am just reminding myself that Rome wasn’t built in a day. New routines take time, it takes space to let our mindset, focus and rhythms to support the newness but we are here for it! I hope that today’s Monday Pep-Talk speaks to your soul a little bit. You are SO worthy of all of the success that you desire and I know you have a long list of things to get to, to catch up on and to create.

    It feels like a New Year for so many of us. But for today, I hope that this is a moment to pause and to remember how powerful and essential it is to lead with YOUR Vision and Mission. Hope you and your crew are having so much fun as you lean into all of the fall transitions. I am literally feeling like fire as we kick off this week. We had such an amazing week last week in our in-person and online community at HCC. An important conversation I wanted to bring to you today is how to LEVERAGE and maximize community and collaboration when you intentionally step out of your comfort zone and work to expand your network. I have sat in many rooms, at many events (IRL + online), hosted a lot of events and feel like I have learned a thing or two along the way.     Happy Monday + I hope your summer is going incredible. Today's episode is truly about transforming your week and generating momentum for you! Soooo...it has been a fullllll and very fun few weeks over here and I am so excited for August. It has been filled with all of the family summer stuff, activities and travel for both biz and pleasure. To be honest, I’m usually the one staying at home and 2023/2024 have had more travel than I have probably done since having kids. Ha! All this to say, I’m really grateful to have my feet planted at home and there have been many thoughts, feelings, shifts, evolutions of who I am and what I’m doing in my work over the last couple of weeks BECAUSE of who I am surrounding myself with and the opportunities I have said yes too. I am so grateful to continually feel supported and challenged. As I sat down to extract some of the ideas I had three things land on my heart to share with you. In today’s podcast episode it’s a Monday Pep-Talk and THREE anchors for you this week has you show up in your life and your career. They are simple, but profound.   • Hey friend, I am home fresh off a work trip to Las Vegas. I took my husband and it was the first time he has accompanied me to my work convention. On the flight home it got me thinking about a lot of things. Well, any convention will do that. It’s a plane for inspiration, to be surrounded by amazing leaders within your industry, to catch the vision, trainings and education ….. it’s full of energy and excitement. But in today’s episode I had some other takeaways, like what it’s REALLY like building a business and family at the same time, the WHY behind it all, why I don’t want you to EVER give up on your dreams and some of the ongoing conversations we are having over at HCC about being an ambitious woman. Building a business and family is no joke. But I believe it’s worth it.

    Alright….COMMUNICATION. The ability to impart or interchange thoughts, opinions, or information by speech, writing, or signs.

    On a scale of 1-10 at a very high level … where would you rate your own communication skills? This is one of the most important skills in LIFE to continue to evolve in. I see it in my own home, in my business, in the communities I am a part of … and we are all so uniquely different and amazing. I hope you can take some time to hear what I say today and put it into action. We all have room for growth when it comes to communication.

    And WHY I think this is so important to talk about as women is because throughout your day I know you are feeling frustrated, underwhelmed, like you are not being seen and heard and it’s maddening. So instead of focusing on what you can’t control … like other people …. Let’s focus on becoming 1% better each day, honing in on skills that will change your life in so many ways if you spend time getting better at it….

    Balancing work and summer fun has it’s learning curves doesn’t it. I hope you are over there finding your stride with all that summer has in store for you and your family. We have been riding that wave too. I had a realization (actually two) last week that I wanted to share with you. What if you don’t need to feel overwhelmed or resentful because you don’t feel like you have enough time to get it all done.

    And what if you could re-imagine how you show up in your work blocks, how you are creating space for what matters right now and expect that it doesn’t have to be hard OR take a long time. I’m a big fan of WORK SPRINTS and have experienced the benefit of them in real time.
