If you're looking to create a routine or implement some intention and happiness into your life, tune in this week to hear about my experience with The Five Minute Journal!

Back by popular demand, I'm joined on the pod by my dad, Mark Pollack. Come hang with us on the couch while we talk about the proper way to cook mushrooms, the art of selling women's shoes, and the fact that all Jews play basketball. I can't promise it'll make sense, but I can promise we had a good time recording it.

I've never really been a fan of the whole New Year's resolution thing because what really changes between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1? Nothing, except maybe a hangover. Instead, I like the idea of setting intentions for the year. Deciding what to bring in and what to release. Or, as Gen Z internet has dubbed, "ins and outs." Tune in to hear what I'd like to see more of in 2024 and what I hope never returns again.
-
Surprise! I recorded this over a month ago and never released it because I couldn't get myself to sit down and add music to it for whatever reason, so here it is for your listening pleasure.

After a month-long hiatus, we are back in business. If you are a student, work a 9 to 5, or have seen more "fitness tips" online from people who seemingly have all the time in the world, this is the episode for you. Taking care of yourself should not be an all-consuming puzzle that ends with shame and frustration. I am by no means an expert, but I know that keeping yourself active is essential for a long, happy, and less stressful life. Fitness looks different for everyone, so this episode focuses on the routine and how to incorporate it into your (normal) life. My routine looks different now than it has in the past and will likely look different in the future, so here is what is working for me now in this phase of life.

Gather 'round and listen to me talk about birthdays, how I've started to gain consciousness of my own personal development, and just some raw thoughts I've been having. This episode is basically a personal journal session, except obviously talking instead of writing.

Therapy has been a useful tool for me in taking control of my mental health. Listen to this episode if you've ever thought about going to therapy, want to know what it's all about, or see if it's right for you. Bear with me as I take you through my own journey with therapy and explain how I benefited from it.

I took a couple, you know I took some time awf to rest, and now it's game time bitches. Jk but I'm back from the two-week hiatus with some totally unprompted parental advice. Come hang with my dad, Mark Pollack, and me to chat about what his parents taught him about friendships, life, and financial advice.
-
It's easy to forget how far you've come in life. I can confidently say you have something to be proud of. Even if you haven't accomplished everything you would've hoped to by now, you have at least accomplished one thing, and I'm sure more. Here is the reminder that I needed, and I hope it's the reminder you need, too.
-
When to be social...when to be alone...that is the question. Sara joins us on the pod to discuss the balance between taking care of yourself, having a social life, and when taking care of yourself turns into an isolation tactic. Come hang with us as we chat about soulmates and learning to get in tune with yourself.

This extra special episode features my grandfather, Dr. William E. Silver, affectionately known as Poppy. Few people are more qualified than him to give the life advice you didn't know you needed. Tune in to hear thoughts about friendship, marriage, traveling, and what we're really doing here.
-
I lived in another country for four months, and it taught me more than I ever thought I'd learn about life and about myself. Tune in to hear the life lessons I wrote for my future self at the end of studying abroad. If change is hard for you, you've had friend troubles, identity troubles, self-doubt, pretty much all of it under the sun (not really but kinda) this episode is for you.
-
Welcome back! Since it's been a minute, we are getting into everythinggg. Including but not limited to friendships post-grad, the Tik Tok to Reels pipeline, pop culture, and my love/hate relationship with running. Strap in because I've got two weeks of pent-up inner monologue, and she's coming out in some weird ways.

Feeling good about your body is something many people—including myself—struggle with. While it's not always easy to manage or talk about, on this episode, Sydney Sloan joins me in talking about the importance of self-confidence, her own experiences with body image, and her advice on building positive body image. Come pull up a chair and hang with Syd and me while we tackle this topic together!

Post-grad life is tough, but you know what else is tough? Being a woman. If you're a woman or a friend to women, this episode is for you. Listen to me talk about...honestly, just a bunch of stuff, including (but not limited to) possible mono flare-ups, my gua sha, and hormones.

Hey, they aren't all winners. But music is the same way. Take a listen if you want to hear my thoughts about music as a whole and why you're allowed to like any music you want, even if it sucks.

Here's my advice on spending time alone. How to do it and love doing it. We all have to spend time alone in some way or another, so you might as well be a pro at it.
