It is the Lord’s desire, His Will, that you would experience what He has already promised you in His Word. That you would experience Him, to come to Know Him, to remain in divine health, to have your soul prospering amongst other promises.
God didn’t give us all an equal measure of faith just so that we could believe in His Son and receive eternal life. He gave us faith to use in everyday life, for ourselves and for others who don’t know how to use the faith in a God, that for now they chose to reject.
We are going to look at how we can be more confident in our faith that God’s Word will come to pass. Not just by being in prayer, memorizing and speaking His Word over situations, but to know His nature and His heart.

This week we are talking about overcoming, through the power of doing the Lord's fast and praying. We will discuss the benefits of fasting.
The Lord's Fast
Isaiah 58 verse 5 - Amplified Classic Version - 5 Is such a fast as yours what I have chosen, a day for a man to humble himself with sorrow in his soul? [Is true fasting merely mechanical?] Is it only to bow down his head like a bulrush and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him [to indicate a condition of heart that he does not have]? Will you call this a fast and an acceptable day to the Lord?6 [Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke?
7 Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house—when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?
8 Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression [wherever you find them], the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking,
10 And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday.
11 And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.
12 And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of [buildings that have laid waste for] many generations; and you shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

We are focusing on Numbers chapter 20 this week, and the incident at the Rock with Moses, Aaron and the Assembly of the Children of Israel. How important it is to be obedient to the Lord's commandments, and be led by His voice within our conscience. The importance of acknowledging the Lord for all good things in our witness to others, especially the lost as well as the saved that are still in the early stages of knowing Him. This week we focus on the first couple of chapters of 1 John, particularly this passage in the Amplified Classic Edition (AMPC):
1 John 1:
5 And this is the message [the message of [a]promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [[b]no, not in any way]. 6 [So] if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are [both] speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth [which the Gospel presents]. 7 But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]. 8 If we say we have no sin [refusing to admit that we are sinners], we delude and lead ourselves astray, and the Truth [which the Gospel presents] is not in us [does not dwell in our hearts]. 9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action]. 10 If we say (claim) we have not sinned, we contradict His Word and make Him out to be false and a liar, and His Word is not in us [the divine message of the Gospel is not in our hearts].

Moses sent out scouts to report back what they found in Canaan, the land which God had given His children. However, some of them brought back an evil report because they were afraid of what they saw and didn't acknowledge the Lord and believe He would give them victory over their enemies.
When we venture into our day, or we find ourselves upon a problem or situation, what do we believe? Do we start professing doubt, repeating the devil's words spoken into our ears? Or, do we profess the Word of God and His promises, that my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus?

For those who love the Lord [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed], what eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for them. This is what 1 Corinthians 2:9 speaks about. The believer in Jesus can rest in peace and joy, but also know they have a hope and a future.
This contrasted with the lack of hope and a future for those who decide to reject Christ, not believe or accept Him, and foolishly and rashly utter things they do not understand (Job 42:3). While being blinded by the devil (2 Corinthians 4:4), they have the ability to receive Christ as Lord but some carry on as they are on the broad path, deceived by their own futile understanding lacking divine Wisdom. Such is the peril of those trusting in their own personal beliefs that contradict the Truth of the Word of our Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

This program focuses on how we can unknowingly be held captive to deception and lies of the devil based on our lack of studying and walking in the Truth of the Word of God. Especially in times such as these, it is so important that we are able to know that a believer can speak to a situation to force it to line up with how it should be based on the Word of God. If the believer still thinks the way he or she used to think, then they continue to live with fear and anxiety, believing that the situation controls them instead of the situation being controlled by their declarations of God over the situation.

Exodus 34:6 - The Lord! the Lord! a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness and truth.
How important it is for us to not depend on our own understanding of God's nature unless that understanding has come from entering into a relationship with Him. Our carnal mind will always be wrong about God until it is renewed to the Truth about Him! (Romans 12:2). One of the ways is to see God's nature and character in action in His Word. According to Proverbs 15:15 (AMPC): 'All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances].'
This week we focus on guarding our hearts and minds, so that what we think, believe and ponder on remains fixed on that which lines up with the very Word of the Living God Almighty. Else we permit evil circumstances to come against us each day, regardless of our knowledge or ignorance of these principles. Worse, we question or even blame our Heavenly Father on how he could have allowed us to have such a bad day!

A child comes home to his or her parents, their clothes full of mud as they were playing with friends in the world. The door of the family’s home is wide open, never closed to those seeking rescue. The loving parents, so pleased to see their child made it home, love on their child by giving them a hot bath and a shower. The parents then feed their child a hot meal so he or she becomes nourished and becomes immune to illnesses.
Such is the love of our Heavenly Father and His Son, Christ Jesus. We are full of mud, walking aimlessly in this world, desperately in need of saving by the Rescuer, Jesus Himself. We are burdened by the chains of sin, hurts in our heart, depression, addictions, our body in need of healing.
The Lord is always ready and willing to help us. Instead of waiting for us to come to Him first, he makes Himself available and knocks on the door of our heart to let us know he is there (Revelation 3:20). But it is up to us to open the door of our heart to let Him in so he can help and grow and heal us. Based on the love of Jesus, He would be saying something similar to “Come to Me as you are. I know all things you have done and have been through. Nothing surprises me. This is why I came and gave my life for you, so that you would not die but live an everlasting life if you choose to believe and receive me in your heart. I have paid for you to be made a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). My Father and I love you so much (John 3:16). Just believe in me, I will wash your sins away as far as the east is from the west. (Psalm 103:12) I shall remember your sins no more (Hebrews 8:12), and neither should you remind yourself of them once you confess them to Me. (1 John 1:9.)”
The Lord washes us clean in our consciences (1 John 1:9). He offers us daily manna by way of His Word, His Scriptures. (Matthew 4:4). Again, we decide whether to eat of this Word for our soul desperately needs it. We decide whether or not to spend time with Jesus in a right relationship that He has already paid for us to have with the Father through Him. It is our choice, as with every decision our free will is able to make in our life on earth. The repercussions of ‘yes’ and ‘no’ on these decisions have a positive or negative effect in our daily lives.
'Come As You Are.' It is the invitation from the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father but by Him (Jesus). Therefore, it stands to reason we should focus our hearts on Jesus and the Father, with guidance and leading of His Holy Spirit. It doesn’t matter how much mud you have on you; Jesus wants to clean you off as you decide to allow him into your home. His arms open wide ready to receive you as you decide to receive Him and begin to love Him.
This program briefly discusses life without a relationship with Jesus, and spends much of the rest of the program on what it looks like to spend time focusing our heart on Jesus. Being Still and knowing He is God. Receiving rewards when disciplining ourselves to diligently seek Him without distractions, in a quiet place.

The first in this series on Ephesians 6, we look at the verses leading up to the instructions of the Apostle Paul to put on the Armor of God in order that we are able to stand up against all the strategies and deceits of the devil. The precursor to putting on the Armor of God is how we should treat others.
As children, we should obey our parents in the Lord as His representative, and from that scripture says we will have a long life on the earth.
That, as Fathers we are not to irritate and provoke our children to anger, but to rear them tenderly in the training and discipline and the counsel and admonition of the Lord (we know this is not happening nearly as much as it needs to be in society and across the world.)
As servants we are to be obedient to whoever are our physical masters and with a right motive of heart. Not doing good things because we know they are watching us, but doing them as a service to Christ Himself. Doing good for anyone causes a reward from the Lord.
As physical masters, for them to act on the same principle toward them and give up threatening and using violent and abusive words. That God as our Master is no respecter of persons.
We begin to talk about drawing strength from the Lord and the action words of these scriptures. That His strength is not automatic. We have to actively draw on it. We should be conscious of the importance of building and strengthening the union we have with Christ, or begin one if one doesn't exist already.

We all want to be on the best path in life. The Word of God, Jesus Himself, is The Way, The Truth and The Life. Without Him we can do nothing. Without Him we cannot be on the best path. The devil therefore lures us to more familiar activities and distractions. We get to choose what we should watch, listen to, and who to be around. Our soul is being affected in a positive or negative way, moment by moment every day.
Our old carnal way is what we are used to. It is what we used to enjoy. Things are different now that we are born again but the old man that died can be resurrected if we do not guard our mind from becoming re-conformed to the world (Romans 12:2 warns us against this.) Therefore there is a constant battle for our attention. Both God and Satan want our focus. God, for our own good because He loves us and knows the dangers of you slipping back into Satan's darkness. Satan wants to keep you from becoming transformed by understanding the Truth of the Word of God. Hence, the choice each hour, each minute is yours. What will you feed your soul? The World or The Truth so that you can be transformed into the person God created you to be?
