In the first episode of the Transformational Blueprints podcast we’re joined by Daniel Pass, Adam Cockburn and Khalil Dimachkie. We discuss how aspiring leaders can make the step from Architect to CIO?
I get asked this question a lot.
- How do I make that step up?
- What do I need to able in a position to apply for that job?
- Or, I applied for the CIO role but didn’t have the experience for it.
The caveat to this is, when we talk about CIO and CTO, we mean no.1 person in Technology. There is a separate debate on CIO vs. CTO. We’ll save that for another day.
In this episode we discuss;
What skills are considered to be transferable from the architecture role to CIO/CTO and what are the gaps? Who can help you get your first CIO roleAdvice on how to get the jobDealing with Imposter Syndrome What the first 100 days look likeGaining buy-inWhat our panellists would have done differentlyIf you have any aspirations to be a CIO/CTO then this episode is perfect for you.
P.s. the editing was slightly more difficult on this one, as it was more of a webinar, so bear with us.
