Hackers have been in the news lately, Microsoft revealed that their Exchange email servers were hacked, exposing its customers emails, and there has been an increase in malware attacks against major hospital chains that may have caused issues during the Covid pandemic. I was able to chat with a CyberSecurity enthusiast who broke down their motivations, what they want and what harm can be done with this information.
How safe are we? Is there anything we can do to protect ourselves? What can companies do to protect our data?

Firearm-related crime has long been a feature of American and South African society, with The United States has the 28th-highest rate of deaths from gun violence in the world: 4.43 deaths per 100,000 people in 2017-far greater than what is seen in other wealthy countries and South Africa having the third-highest annual rate of firearm deaths (26.8/100 000) after Colombia and Venezuela. This episode I am interviewed by fellow podcaster "Unravel with Nokuthula Khwela" and discuss links between Gun Violence in the United States and South Africa.

This episode we interview Dr. Robert Jupiter (my brother), a family doctor here in Chicago Illinois. We learn about the vaccine rollout at the hospital and explore the effectiveness of vaccines, the impact on family and friends as well as how effective it will be against new variants. We also delve into side effects and why some may even in urban communities dis-trust vaccines in general. We end off chatting about its impact on urban communities, "heard immunity" and what needs to happen for us to get back to a sense of normalcy. I hope you enjoy this one, I sure did!
