C’est le premier chapitre d’un diptyque complété par un spectacle chorégraphique et musical : Fampitaha, Fampita, Fampitàna Il y a un trou dans ma langue, comme il y a un trou dans l’histoire
Rouge cratère est une lettre adressée à Madagascar. Soa sonde les cratères qui la composent, de son vécu d’enfant de la diaspora malgache en France, jusqu’à sa pratique de la danse. Accompagnée d’habitantes de l’île, Soa dresse le portrait d’une Madagascar démystifiée et ancrée dans sa propre réalité.
Au travers d’une “image” de la reine Malgache Ranavalona 1ère, le réapprentissage d’une langue balbutiée, la transmission de danses ancestrales et les consolations de nos plats favoris… Rouge cratère expose les sons, les saveurs et la couleur qui façonnent la relation que l’on entretient avec son héritage.
Cette création radiophonique apparaît ainsi comme une exploration des conséquences de la colonisation sur les corps, les récits et l’intime. C’est une invitation à se délester du poids de la honte et à sortir du silence de l’Histoire.
Il s’agit d’une fable documentaire où cherche à se renouer un dialogue entre une île, sa diaspora et ses rejetons; où crache par toutes les brèches, le droit d’exister dans l’entre-deux.
