MEET ASHER LAUB:
Asher’s notable musical career began with classical violin training at the tender age of 2—leading to his first formal concert with the Buffalo Philharmonic at 13.
Since then, Asher’s ability to improvise across multiple genres has inspired an innovative career as a cutting-edge electric violinist. Asher’s engaging solo performances have made him a co-headliner at iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden, Hammerstein Hall, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. His diverse multicultural repertoire has garnered acclaim across four continents. Asher’s high-energy concerts have been aired nationwide on PBS and made headlines on major media outlets such as CNN, WABC, NBC, and the New York Post.
In 2014, Asher lived a musician’s nightmare when he confronted health challenges that impacted his mobility. Refusing to accept defeat, he rebuilt his musical skills to a new level. This harrowing experience inspired him to reinvent himself as a dancing violinist. In only a few months, Asher learned to merge hip-hop, pop, EDM, rock, and other genres with breakdancing and acrobatic choreography. His live performances now reflect his unstoppable spirit and joy!
With a growing fan base, Asher is working to influence societal norms and conventional thinking about musical performance, helping to break down social and physical barriers. His latest single, Gratitude, has been described as a “high-octane hit” and can be accessed on Spotify and all other major platforms. Asher is currently in the studio working on releasing his next original album.

MEET PATRICIA [TRISHA] RICKETTS:
Patricia [Trisha] Ricketts received a lifelong love of music, the written word, the visual arts, and healthy arguing from her Irish Catholic family of origin. She’s been penning essays, short stories, poems, and novels for most of her life as she raised three wonderful children and has watched seven grandchildren grow.
However, after receiving a scholarship to the University of Edinburgh in Creative Writing, her passion for writing escalated. Since then, she has had short stories published in New Directions, The Slate, Meta, The Blue Hour Magazine, Realize Magazine, Storied Stuff , and on NPR’s “This I Believe” website. Her love of writing flows into her musical lyrics.
During the pandemic, she’s written nearly a song a week—some better than others! Trisha has performed her own work at open mics and hosted musical events in and around Chicago with her artist and musician partner, Peter Hurley. Having recently published her second novel, Speed of Dark, she is way into working on her third novel, The End of June, due out in fall 2023.

MEET LISABETH POSTHUMA
Lisabeth Posthuma was a teacher, photographer, and (most importantly) video rental clerk before becoming a writer. She holds one of those degrees from a really expensive private liberal arts college that no one can afford (including her). She resides in Michigan where winters are too long.

MEET CARLA STICKLER:
Carla Stickler is a professional multi-hyphenate advocating for the inclusion of artists in STEM. Currently a software engineer, she made a dramatic return to the stage during the height of the 2021/2022 covid surge in New York. She was featured on NPR, ABC, Vulture, Inside Edition, and Nightline for her performance as Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway after 7 years away from the role and a career change into tech.
She works as a Software Engineer at G2 in Chicago. She is a champion for artists looking to make a career change into tech and a member of Artists Who Code. She loves chatting with folks interested in shifting gears from the arts to programming and especially hopes to get more women into the field!
Carla spent over 10 years performing in Broadway musicals, most notably, Wicked, Mamma Mia!, and The Sound of Music. She is also a voice teacher, having taught on the faculties at Marymount Manhattan College and Molloy College/CAP21. She mainly teaches specialized workshops in performance techniques as well as private coaching.
She is passionate about reframing the narrative of the “starving artist.” When we choose to walk away from a full-time pursuit of the arts it does not make us failed artists. The possibilities for what we can do and who can be, are unlimited.

MEET JASON AZEVEDO:
Jason created his first manufacturing company with just $600 when he was only 15 years old. At this young age, he was able to establish business with some of the greatest companies in the world such as Starbucks, Nike, Disney, Marvel, Volkswagen, Audi, Lucas films, dodgers, and NBA teams. By the time he was 20 he was already making millions in revenue.
Taking back US Jobs has been one of our country's biggest challenges. This teenage millionaire comes manufacturing mogul and says he has found the answer.
Jason is one of the most dynamic people you will meet. He owns and operates the last standing MADE IN AMERICA factories (IN CALIFORNIA NO LESS!) and has hatched a plan to give back the factories and some of his wealth to the American workers.
In 2009, Jason co-founded Mosaic, taking on the role of CEO — his talents are far beyond running the company, with duties touching on conceptual development, engineering, and deployment. Since 2009, Jason’s been at the helm of growing the company year-over-year, acquiring several entities, and creating several others to round out manufacturing efforts. His emphasis on Made In America is a driving force for how the various companies he’s co-founded operate. He also assists with business development and client strategy and is an integral part of how we operate.
Personal interests range from riding dirt bikes and quads to beach volleyball, to whiskey tasting, to learning to ranch horses, goats, cattle, and chickens. International travel weaves its way in there, too!

MEET CBABI BAYOC:
Cbabi (pronounced Kuh-bob-bi) Bayoc is an internationally-known visual artist and illustrator residing in St. Louis, Missouri. His subjects include family, children, music and a bunch of other cool stuff designed with line, bold color and phunk! Bayoc, whose birth name is Clifford Miskell, Jr., adopted his name CBABI (Creative-Black-Artist-Battling- Ignorance) during his time at Grambling State University (‘92-‘95). In 1997, a legal name change took place at the time of his marriage. Later, Cbabi would change his last name to BAYOC (Blesed-African-Youth-Of-Creativity) as something that could be shared with his future children.
After working as a caricature artist at Six Flags over St. Louis, Cbabi pursued a career as an illustrator. His first notable client was Rap Pages magazine. During the entire year of 1998 he was given the RPM section on a monthly basis to display a caricature of the featured artist. Through that exposure, he was contacted by Violator Management to create the artwork for the cover of the Violator Compilation, Vol.1 album, featuring the likenesses of Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, Foxy Brown, Q-Tip, LL Cool J, Mobb Deep, Fat Joe and Big Pun.
The year before, Bayoc was approached to exhibit artwork at an organization called Dignity House in St. Louis, which was a beneficiary of musician Prince’s Love 4 One Another (L4OA) charity tour. The volunteer team recorded the food donation event on July 27, 1997 and took the footage back to Prince. The rest, as they say, is history. Prince liked what he saw and collected Bayoc’s art for many years. On October 20, 2000, the day Cbabi’s first child was born, Prince’s management called to request samples of new work. Prince used one of the pieces he acquired during that round, “Reine Keis Quintet”, as the cover art for his 23rd studio album, The Rainbow Children, which was released in 2001. The artwork was also the centerpiece of Prince’s first Celebration event held at his Paisley Park complex in Chanhassen, Minnesota, June 13-17, 2001, celebrating The Rainbow Children album and the re-claiming of Prince’s name after the expiration of his Warner Brothers contract.
In 2012, Bayoc began his 365 Days with Dad series. This New Year’s resolution to paint a positive image of black fatherhood each day for the entire year resulted in a journey that was inspiring (and exhausting!), ultimately resulting in the sharing of many stories of good experiences, no experience and hopeful experiences of Dads of all life stages. The project started a dialogue within the community about the importance of a strong foundation and support system for all children, no matter the age.
Today, Cbabi spends his time working on a variety of projects, including portraits, community murals, school murals, children’s book illustrations and is always up for a new challenge. He likes traveling to schools and talking with students about their own power in determining their destiny, using his own life experiences as lessons. He also enjoys spending time embarrassing his three teenage children.

She lives in Berlin where she continues her artistic research.
Known for her creative approach to performance and mentorship, Cecilia is fascinated by different forms of art and different mediums for artistic expression, and often creates interdisciplinary work, pursuing the idea of deepening the connection and relationship with the public through music and bodily expression. While music is her primary language, hers is a dialogue of sounds and silences, a dialogue of the body with space.
In her journey as a human being and an artist, themes of interest emerged, culminating in her meeting with the artist Daniela Marcozzi and the violinist and founder of Mindful Music Making, Alina Pogostkina. These two meetings inspired Cecilia to conceive her personal project: The Lab of Joy. A laboratory, in fact, that researches and develops means of expression that are aimed at the unfolding qualities of one’s human expression and soul.
Her passion for physical theater, contemporary music and the visual arts is shown in several projects in which she took part as a soloist and guest musician. ‘On Urgency’ by Daniela Marcozzi Contemporary Theater, Klangwerkstattfestival für neue Musik with Sylvia Hinz and Das Festival Ensemble. Contemporary Donaueschingen Musiktage for the Premiere of the work of composer Wojtek Blecharz Symphony No. 3 for 200 wireless speakers and 5 performers.

MEET BRENT EVISTON:
Drawing is Brent’s lifelong passion. He has studied numerous forms of drawing including observational drawing, figure drawing, anatomical drawing, architectural drawing as well as more contemporary forms of experimental drawing. Brent is also a sought after drawing instructor. In 2016 Brent created The Art & Science of Drawing, a series of bestselling, award winning, online drawing courses. To date, The Art & Science of Drawing series has enrolled more than 150,000 students in 177 countries.
Brent teaches that drawing is not a talent, but rather a practical skill that anyone can learn. Throughout his more than twenty years of teaching Brent has tested numerous types of drawing instruction from centuries old classical techniques to contemporary practices. From his experience with thousands of students he has designed an approach to drawing that combines tried and true techniques with innovative methods of his own design.
Now, Brent has distilled the most essential drawing lessons into his upcoming book: “The Art & Science of Drawing: Learn to Observe, Analyze, and Draw Any Subject”. The book is perfect for absolute beginners, but also excellent for more experienced artists and designers of any kind wanting to strengthen their fundamental skills.
In addition to drawing, Brent also teaches creativity and creative thinking. Like drawing, Brent believes that anyone can learn to be more creative if they are willing to adopt and practice the habits and behaviors that promote creativity.
Brent is now working on a new body of creative and interactive artwork where he uses his traditional drawings as the raw materials for collages, dioramas and videos.
