這裡想聊聊什麼是即興？什麼是即興劇、即興唱歌與一些我的創作和歷程。
「即興劇」是一種沒有預設劇本、角色與台詞等，完全由當下觀眾提供的點子作為靈感發展的一種戲劇演出型式；「即興唱歌」則是透過觀眾提供的歌名為靈感，現場與樂手、演員一起創作出獨一無二的歌曲。而「即興音樂劇」，則是綜合戲劇與音樂的完整演出。

「愛的自由黨 Party of love and liberty」廣播節目原是給孤獨者書店的企劃項目之一，自2016年11月8日起，在網路平台上播送首集，直至書店於2018年中結束營業後亦隨之關閉，廣播的任務屆告一段落。後來的日子裏，不時想念那些專注聆聽的耳朵，也曾零星錄製幾集，最終決定於2021年9月開始，重啟「愛的自由黨」此一廣播企劃，內容包括生活雑談、閱讀以及音樂分享，偶有對談。
廣播的新logo是一只貝螺。貝螺作為軟體動物的覆殼，當浪潮緩緩褪去，在岸邊反覆地說著它曾經活過的故事，而人世間的種種文字與音樂，不也是在極度柔軟的心靈裏所生成的貝螺嗎？同時亦呼應「給孤獨者書店」一名取自佛教經典《金剛經》首段，貝螺作為八吉祥符號之一，同喻佛陀說法之妙。
在海岸邊，你張開耳朵，

那個時代，人們隨著78轉跳舞唱歌；
這個時代，我們陪著78轉述說它自己的故事。
本節目是由文化部影視及流行音樂產業局補助，曾文溪廣播電台製作，以1930年代78轉台語流行歌曲為主題，邀請作家自由創作全新故事劇本，集合老中青近40位聲音演員以台語配音，由民歌手深情演繹，製成音樂廣播劇，在故事中呈現歌曲的意境與樣貌。
節目中邀請曲盤收藏家黃士豪分享78轉原版曲盤，並由專研台語流行歌曲的節目顧問群介紹歌曲時代背景、歌詞意涵及音樂風格等。此外，也特別邀請資深台語專家蕭藤村老師解說歌詞中重要的台語詞彙，並勘正謬誤，還原歌詞原意，最後則是舊曲新聲彈唱秀入選作品欣賞。
